Very old and very quaint Irish pub. Small inside but cozy. The drinks - I had Guinness and cider - were good and the setting was perfect. The musician was also fantastic - really charming and absolutely hilarious. This is definitely out of the way but worth a visit.
An awesome old classic Irish pub run by the same family for multiple generations. On our tour they had an artist perform a mix of traditional Irish songs/tales, and covers of a couple more current Irish band, singers. A really fun time for the whole group. Don't plan for fancy mixed drinks although simple ones they can manage. Plenty of beer, cider, and whiskey options.
Real small village pub wuth some live entertainment. Only part of our tour group and a few locals were there. We had a few drinks and were treated with some local entertainment. A lively entertainer with a guitar and funny to boot. Spent an enjoyable hour before dinner
I was part of a tour group through “Globus” and visited this bar.  The way Globus sold this optional excursion was a complete mischaracterization of what it actually was.  We were told it was an authentic Irish pub where there was a warm and friendly atmosphere - a family feeling.  However when we arrived we found this not to be the case.  The place itself is basically two big rooms where each room is the size of a living room.  Our group was about 30 to 40 people and we were packed in like sardines.  After the experience was over I talked to several members of our group and everyone agreed the place was nothing like what we expected it to be.  It was very uncomfortable and tiny. The highlight of the experience was supposed to be the entertainer, Richie Roberts.  He comes across as very rude and authoritarian like.  He told us at the beginning that cell phone use was not permitted *unless* it was to take pictures or video of him.  About 10 minutes into the performance a lady was looking down at her phone.  Mr. Roberts stopped playing the guitar and just stared at her.  When she did not look up he finally said “Ma’am”.  Once she realized that he was talking to her she responded that a family member had just passed away.  He replied “You are only in here for one hour”.  Not only was this obnoxious and heartless but I could tell that this really disturbed her.  I understand the idea of being present but being inflexible and rude to your customers does not make for a pleasant experience.  Mr. Roberts needs education on appropriate human interaction and Globus needs to describe this experience a bit more accurately.
A great small town, family owned Irish pub. The owners son was working while I was there and very friendly and helpful.
Great traditional bar, lovely in both winter and summer. Lovely owner and staff. Highly recommend
Aggie Hayes Pub is the oldest thatched house pub in Ireland. We had n enjoyable time here live Irish music. It was wonderful.
This was a great cozy place with great traditional Irish music sing along lead by Reggie. Smaller but homey Thatched roof pub that may be a couple hundred years old. My whole family and friend touring group had a blast. We tried Beamish for the first time slightly sweeter stout beer than Guiness. It was hard to leave.
Nice a cozy place for a drink with friends. If Richie Roberts happens to singing and playing his guitar makes it all that more special!
Great fun! Ricky Robinson...wonderful entertainer
