Lovely centre to rest your legs whilst on the Common. Great little cafe with Italian coffee. Outside area by the pond. Good range of meals and cakes. Cosy and clean. Good place to meet friends for a coffee. Do a great Christmas lunch in December.
Just to let everybody know its closed.
Not as good as it use to be. Use to have little rodents and bits of interest. Now just like a class room and pretty dull and dreary. Certainly could do with a make over. Even the snake has seen better days
It's free and kids can relax and learn a bit about nature
Nice quiet place, nature based information boards, coffee, light snacks and public toilets. Pretty much an ideal place to use as a launch pad or last stop for parkland walks.
Lovely place to stop for coffee and cake. Pizza cooked in the wood fired oven was smelling delicious as we left.
Nice little cafe for a stop. The wild life centre does not seem to be open very often but I tend to only get out on a Sunday. Well kept facilities and quality food
A nice green oasis in the city
Excellent mini nature reserve, with a lot to do for children. Good teas and coffees, but the food is overpriced and not great quality - £5.20 last visit for a very sad-looking and tasting toastie.
