I recently saw Dr. Nadia Rahman, and she was absolutely lovely. She listened to me very patiently and made me feel completely comfortable. I was there with my three daughters all under 3, and even though they were restless, she never made me feel embarrassed for a moment. She was so kind and understanding, even giving my girls stickers to keep them happy. I really appreciate her compassion and professionalism!
Phone the doctors at hawthorn surgery this morning asked for an appointment said telephone one will do asked for Dr Douglas, was told dr wasn’t in today would I see any dr so I say yes, already told her I can’t do it online so she said I will do it this time but next time I must do it online? do something I can’t do so I told her to forget it if she can’t be bothered and hung up I’m really struggling here and she only worries about having to help me made me feel like I was interrupting her cup of tea and being a burden I will put a complaint in when I find out how one star that for picking the phone up, if she is not going to help why is she there.
The Receptionists have always been a little curt, but when I needed an emergency appointment, I got a same day consultation. Repeat prescriptions do take a longer to be approved than is really expected. There are some places to improve, but overall, a good surgery.
When I moved here 4 years ago I was not at all impressed with the surgery.nBut all that seems to have changed!nI am always contacted promptly after using Klinik and either seen by a doctor the same day or by phone.nDoctors and receptionists are friendly and polite which it very important when you aren't feeling well.
I been going here since I was little and the service, especially receptionists has been consistently bad. In my 16 years of going to this GP I can’t remember one time that has been simple and successful. The new Klinik appointment booking system is terrible especially for women needing sexual advise/help and the response rate is appalling. Have made multiple emergency requests and have been completely ignored. Try to avoid this GP as much as possible
