A home from home. I've stayed here twice this year with my daughter and their is nothing Ursula couldn't do for us with her warm smile and kind heart. We were made to feel at home from the get go and we really did. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. The breakfast has a great variety and Ursula is very flexible with timing. Ursula, her husband Noel and daughter Fiona were all fantastic, very accommodating and brilliant with my daughter, going out of their way to entertain her. Mountshannon itself is wonderful for children with the fairy trail in Woodpark, the maze and playground in Aistear Park and the beautiful lake. I would really recommend a holiday to Mountshannon and a stay in Hawthorn Lodge.

What a lovely place and what a delightful host. Comfortable , private accommodations and splendid Irish breakfast. We had visited the Heritage Center in Woodford, which is the place for ancestry records for all of County Galway. Since Woodford has no hotels or B&B's, we luckily found Hawthorne Lodge B&B via Google maps and it was a quick jaunt over. We will definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in schöner Umgebung. Große Zimmer, leckeres Frühstück und freundliche Gastgeber! Unbedingt empfehlenswert!
