I have lots of good things to say about this place! Truly the entire team were so wonderful and the woman who helped us helped from start to finish! Not only did we create a beautiful bond with our new kitten but I'd say we created a bond with this company for life! The place itself is absolutely beautiful out in nature we drive a transit van and couldn't get it down the road but we just parked at the top and walked down and all the cats and kittens are so happy and looked after. £100 for a kitten with all vaccines and important things already done is an absolute steal and you're supporting cats that have lost their homes! They also give you a little goodie bag with treats and food! And all the paperwork is all collected and well done, for your ease! I legitimately have nothing bad to say about them at all and I will recommend them to everyone for so many years to come. Thank you so much Yoda is very happy with us
We got our 2 cats from Yorkshire cat rescue. The cats there are really well looked after and the staff and foster all lovely caring people who put the cats first. We got to see the kittens while we were there and met little Boo who is gorgeous and was awaiting an operation on his eye socket as it was infected. I can't praise you all enough for the love and care you give the kitties in your care. Thank you so much for allowing us to adopt Sooty and Luna they are both settling in really well and love to eat, play, have cuddles and sleep. We will take them to Yorkshire vets for a checkover soon just to be sure they've not lost any weight and to get their flea and worm treatment. Many thanks K and M Strong
I adopted a kitten from here. The adoption process was smooth and detailed as it needs to be. They were friendly and knowledgeable people. The cats and kittens are extremely well cared for.
Yorkshire Cat Rescue is one of the best cat rescue centres I’ve ever seen. The staff genuinely care about every single cat, young, old, sick. All. Its clean, all the cats have hand knitted blankets. Say no more. I’ve travelled almost 2 hours to get there to adopt both of my 2 cats when they were kittens.
We got our kitten from Yorkshire cat rescue. The adoption process was super efficient, lovely people introduced us to our kitten and took us through the adoption process
Absolutely fantastic organization. I wish I didn't live on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean; I would have brought a sweet kitty home with me. I can't say enough great things about the folks at YCR. They take care of cats that many other groups won't. Their facilities are first rate. It was nice to meet the cats I've been following on Facebook. Seeing that I'm from out of town I had a bit of difficulty finding the place; I drove by it twice.
What an awsome place. I'm full of gratitudes and admiration for staff that works there. They do awsome job to try to stop this irresponsible cat breeding. I've got 2 cats from them and they are fantastic. The advice I've been given on adoption was fabulous. They offer on going support and advice . Well done and thank you Yorkshire cat rescue!!!

Absolutely appalled by this place. My cat went missing 3 years ago and was handed into Yorkshire cat rescue, I received a call from a Sarah which I still have the voice mail Sarah said my cat had been scanned and would I relinquish him into their care. Of which I said no I want him back, Sarah advised me as If had small children at home this wouldn’t be advisable as my cat had gone feral…. I reluctantly agreed and relinquished my cat into the trusty care of this charity they said they would update his chip and rehome him to a none child household……years have passed and so have my circumstances and I have now adopted a 17 year old male cat and a kitten. last week I received a call from the local vets to inform me my cat had been found, I explained the situation. I rang Yorkshire cat rescue and they denied any knowledge of my cat and had no idea what I was talking about! I was horrified as they told me a lady called Sarah has just retired. Again I relinquished him Back into their care but made sure I was updated on and told about him. I also requested him not to be named on Facebook as he had a very unusual name. I have just logged into Facebook to see they had named him his old name! I gave him a new name and said for him advertised as that! I’m mortified!!! So unprofessional on every single level! Data protection has been breached when I specifically told the manager “becca” NOT to call him by his previous name!! My son found it scrolling through Facebook and was mortified….. and the face his wasn’t rehomed in the first place or his chip updated and the fact they could give me no answered as to where he’s been
Such a wonderful caring place where the cats and their welfare comes first
