Wonderful village, woeful GP. Many a time have I phoned constantly from 8.15 to 8.45am only to hear the engaged phone. When I finally get through "No appointments" That is the norm here. Once it was 3 days back to back. I only moved here from Lancashire 2 years ago and I have never experienced such poor service from a GP surgery. I looked at these google reviews before I joined and foolishly took no notice. If you are new to the area, do yourself a big favor and join Shotton Lane Surgery. This is the dregs of the NHS

I asked for a form for my son to join as he has moved to Hawarden and he works away. She said you can't download one and they cannot post it. I had to drive there 40 mile round trip to pick one up. I then had to go to his existing surgery to get a copy of his prescriptions, another 30 mile round trip. We filled the forms in, posted them and guess what, they never received them!!! And instead of saying, give me your number so we can have a proper look, she said in a nasal tone "well that's Royal Mail for you". Absolutely dreadful attitude.

Can never get an appointment, I called every day for at week at 8:15 and every time they had 'no appointments', brushed me off 3 times till they actuly helped me and found out what was wrong, the doctors act like they don't care about you And just want you to hurry up and leave!
