I had high expectations for this golf course going off the reviews and the price to pay, luckily I'm a member of another club so get to play here as well. Unfortunately it was a let down, it was so boggy, out of 18 holes I think 15 had temp tees and the temp tees were on an angle. One picture I've posted is of the 17th tee. It should have been closed. The tees were also overgrown on a lot of the tees but I'm guessing that was letting them grow out but then again, I've never seen a course out the ones I've played in this bad condition. The 3 star would have been 2, but the greens were pretty good considering the rest of the course.
I held our business Golf Day here and could not fault any part of the course or staff. Excellent customer service from everyone, helpful and welcoming. The course is challenging and rewarding with a great variety of holes, holes number 9 & 18 are really impressive off the tee!
It's was beautiful course but just not for me to many hills steep aswell which had me in pain bye the ninth hole...but its well worth a go for average golfer
This course is coming into its own now the weather is starting to turn good, after playing it in the mid spring you can see it suffers a little from some drainage issues in places but, I again played it in the first week of may and was very surprised how different it was, the course is looking good and the greens and in excellent condition they are going to be great throughout the summer I'm surealthough the 7th needed a little attention. Some challenging holes for the average golfer here, course management is key on several holes, there are some blind shots so I'd recommend your first time playing it try and grab someone who knows the course to offer some guidance I'll be back throughout the summer to play
Lovely course in good condition, its definitely a challenge and quite a workout too with all the hills. Some very picturesque spots too
Diolch yn fawr kind people for allowing me to experience the ambience and amenities, Thanks lady captain for your time, and a great gentleman called Harvey
Some lovely quirky holes mixed in with a few standard straight forward ones. Green were of a very high standard. Some of the tees were a bit rough though. Fairways generally good but the landing area for tee shots on the first was very rough with many scuffs and divot holes. Clubhouse was very pleasant with a good snack selection. All in all an enjoyable day out.
Excellent variety of holes. Fairway and greens were mint.
Course is fantastic- every hole is different and the change over the last few years has been immense. The new tee on 18 is superb and the work to the 4th and 5th home has made a noticeable difference to the drainage. The club house is also a million times improved on previous years. The bar has improved its drink Selection and the food is a huge improvement with tentative staff. Add to that a now excellent patio area and it’s easy to see why membership is growing. Credit to all and especially Jo and Craig for the huge and much needed club house improvements!!
Greats views, greats drinks and brilliant food!
