We had a family wedding reception here and came back for the anniversary. It's such a welcoming place, the barmaid even remembered our family and warmly welcomed us in. Pre-dinner cocktails are carefully made and delicious! Very inventive concepts, like cappuccino martini, which was very well received by our party. Dinner was a 3 course set menu, and it's was all delicious! Delicate pieces of meat, flavourful vegetables and a stuffed aubergine that was very moreish. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive and peaceful, in that they didn't come across as erratic or irritating, but well balanced and friendly. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable evening and a great place to celebrate any occasion

Charming place, lovely greeting, we were looked after quite well, but not such good food. The Sunday roasts all came dry and unsatisfying, as they are pre-cooked and reheated for serving. Not quite good enough for the price. I'd definitely visit again, but avoid that particular dish

Great place excellent service and food and Sunday lunch good value. Very comfortable restaurant. Very happy to go again.
