Wonderful place. A WW1 battlefield on British soil!! Lots of guns.. from pistols to 6inch coastal artillery! All the staff and volunteers are friendly and helpful with good knowledge of the exhibitions and the historic action. It's only small but packs a lot in. The tearoom is very nice.. good food and reasonable prices
We were too late to tour the museum, but we were able to sample the delights of tea at Poppy's cafe. Individual seating pods decorated in wartime memorabilia. A lovely find. Staff were lovely & whole experience lovely.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Stunning museum, with great local interest about Hartlepool through the war years. Showing different aspects of tanks, armaments and human stories. Was totally fascinated by the displays and details. A must visit on the Headland . Also far reaching views up and down the coast was to be had.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
