Order food to pick up, big order 10 people, they got it spot on. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Chips are lovely and have to mention the pea fritters. Reasonably priced.
Really fast service and a good quality takeaway. Cod was small but the batter was crispy and not too greasy, the fish flaked and tasted great. Overall it was up there for a good chippy but it’s definitely on the expensive side for the portion size that you get
Lovely staff fairly quick service ,fish was fresh but batter was soggy small portion of chips for nearly £4.00 total for 2 over £20 ,wouldn't go back sorry
I have been to many chip shops around the UK but no place so far has beaten the satisfaction of eating from here, the serving is quick, the staff are friendly and most importantly the fish and chips are to die for. Highly recommended
Visited back in January and 2 curry sauces were forgotten off the order and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try them again tonight after several months. I have to say all 4 of us were most disappointed. Our cod was very dry and rubbery on the edges and the chips were dry aswell. We made extra curry sauce at home just to try and make it more edible but there was barely no difference. Definitely wont be back again!
Absolutely fantastic fish and chip shop . The food is amazing , portion sizes are spot on will try the Chinese next . Unlike some restaurants you can have to much choice and feel overwhelmed but hatherleigh fish bar has this spot on as well with just the right amount of choice .Really worth the money . The girls behind the counter are always happy and helpful . Only one draw back is the paperbags that they use as can brake before you get home . But if you take a plastic bag with you your laughing . But will definitely carry on using them . Keep up the good work team
We had a really nice Chinese takeaway meal from here whilst staying on holiday in the area, the menu isn't big but what they do is very tasty. Would recommend

Nice fish and chips and decent but not huge selection of Chinese takeaway options. Great to have this amenity in our little town
Great value fish and chips which all the family enjoyed. Have Chinese cuisine on offer as well if you fancy a change.
