Lovely NT property, a hidden gem really as it isn't as popular as other NT properties in the area. Has some stunning countryside walks and views and the Bluebell woods are lovely when the Bluebells are in bloom. Has a very nice courtyard and coffee shop / restaurant, it's well worth a visit.
This season the bluebells at Hatchlands are truly a feast for the eyes, besides it's a lovely place to visit at the best of times for peaceful walks. Good cafeteria plus a recently opened second hand bookshop both worth visiting... lovely traditional afternoon tea served in the cafe.
Fantastic open spaces, lots of good stops to eat & drink including a few picnic tables. Very pretty views, not too busy.
Nice gentle morning out. Cafe had great food with ample seating for picnic
A national trust experience for children. A tree house, donkeys, food, big house, plenty of parking, sheep, cows, pond, fish. Large walking area, not sure what else you want.
Formal Gardens are astonishing. There are some very nice walks not to far or too muddy. Architecture of the buildings is also a point of interest. Great place to stop for lunch en route to some somewhere without having to do the service station.
Great place to take kids, beautiful countryside and great walks.
Beautiful Bluebells like carpets. And stunning oak trees and woods.
