14 years as Wimbledon's authentic Japanese Cookery School, Courses and Classes for beginners to professional chefs.
Kyoto-born chef, Reiko Hashimoto, founded Hashi Cooking 14 years ago and has now set thousands of students on the path to authentic and creative Japanese cooking, coaching raw beginners to chefs of Le Cordon Bleu.
Hashi classes consist of just five to eight people, range from sushi and sashimi workshops to home cooking courses, simple to gourmet Japanese cuisine, and also cater to dietary needs through vegetarian and private classes.
The ethos of the school is to teach students that traditional Japanese food is accessible for the western chef, working in the western kitchen.
Reiko also hosts private events in venues across London such as the Lansdowne Club, Soho and Shoreditch House and The Club at The Ivy. Meanwhile, Reiko’s own fusion recipes are influenced by her travels around the world before settling in London, and she continues to train international chefs further afield with recent courses in Italy and Myanmar.
