We went for a family dinner on a Friday, which was booked the day before. Booking the table itself was very easy - automated via mobile. The Harvester pub has a fairly big car park. The ambiance was great with plenty of outside seating, which sadly couldn't be availed that day due to rain. We were served by the friendly Naomi. The menu has a very good spread and is moderately priced. We thoroughly enjoyed the tapas style 4-item starter. The burgers ordered by me and my son, and the mixed grill ordered by wife were delicious. We also enjoyed the complimentary unlimited salad section. We were too full to try out dessert, despite the options sounding yummy. Overall it was a lovely dining experience.
Visited for an evening meal after work. Really nice welcoming restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Seating area was clean. Food was really tasty, well cooked and really filling. Our server Kara was very attentive. Large car park and clean toilets. The only slight issue was a 30 minute wait for the mains after being served from the salad bar, but the food was worth the slight wait.
Very friendly and efficient staff the food was good and adequate for us but portions could have been a bit bigger, I suppose the portions are on the small side because of the free salad. There are also free rolls and butter which we was not told about !! Apparently if you buy a pint of soft drink you can have free top ups of coke and orange, again we was not told about this until we saw customers doing it. They had unfortunately ran out of rotisserie chicken and also jacket potatoes. However we would go again and recommend that you try it Parking: Although there is adequate parking unfortunately we noticed that most of the disabled spaces were taken up by cars without Blue Badges, which is not monitored.
We visited the Harvester this afternoon for lunch and was very impressed. The salad trolley was fully stocked and fresh as well as delicious - you are able to choose your own now I stead of asking for it. The food, cooked by Andy in the kitchenso I was told was delicious. And the service by Julia, wow. She was so attentive but walked that really difficult line of not being intrusive like an expert tightrope walker! She changed the volume of the music several times for me, chatted with my daughter, even tried to find a vegetable that she would eat with her main course . We were really impressed with our visit today. Thanks.
We visited after purchasing a Groupon voucher for Harvester 3 course meal for 2 for £30. Haven't been to a Harevster in a long time, but my partner and I were really surprised by how much we enjoyed our meal. Initial service and being shown to our table, the lady was a bit abrupt and not very warm, especially after we mentioned Groupon. But our main server youngish female, possibly called Ellie was really lovely and helpful - great job. The pub itself is really interesting, it was clean & intricate inside, and the outside felt it'd be very pleasant in the summer. Free salad bar with bread etc and the unlimited refill soft drinks felt like a proper treat, and the food itself was great. I couldn't fit in my pudding, so our server was more than happy to put it in a takeaway box for me to take home. Definitely inclined to visit again, with or without a voucher in future. Parking: Easy to access car park, plenty of spaces available.

Updated post, normal service has finally resumed. You can now get your own salad. Nearly back to normal but having someone get your salad for you is not great. For a start there is less salad to choose from and why bother anyway. You have to stand next to the server anyway so its not about social distancing. Hope they get back to normal service soon.
Our server Julia was welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Service with a smile that allowed us to have a pleasant experience. Jack our chef cooked up a gut busting meal that was delicious and well presented with great portion sizes. We are regulars to the harvester and the service by this dynamic duo will keep us coming back. Thank you
Brought my two daughters out for a midweek treat. Had a lovely evening. Great service- most of the food was well prepared and tasty. My daughters enjoyed the little games packs that were given to them by the servers. It's not a 5 star review because of two things; The meat free meatballs and pasta my daughter had were disgusting. My daughters words I tasted one and my other daughter tasted one and we all concurred...they were. Some work might be needed on those I think. The pasta and sauce was nice though. Also, the salad bar was practically empty - there was very little to chose from. The sauces were nearly Empty and just looked a limp version of its usual self. We will go again though - the food is usually lovely and some dodgy meatballs aside - it was lovely tonight!
No Rotisserie Chicken avalable was dissapointing. Not being told this until we had studied the menu for 10 minutes and attempted to order was poor. Food was enjoyable and salad buffet fresh and well stocked. Service was prompt and server very pleasant.
