If I could have given this place 0 stars I would have. We booked a Christmas meal there, at 5pm- 2 hours before the meal, we were told that the ‘soul night’ we were promised was cancelled. We had paid £37.50 each for a meal and a night out so that was disappointing. Me and my partner turned up to the venue. He ordered a red stripe which seemed to be on tap. It wasn’t. They poured it into a plastic glass from the can!! Things went bad to worse; we were the only people there, we were on seperate tables for 14 of us, terrible customer service, the staff were unapologetic, need I go on! Do not book here for any event!
Our experience was less than great. I was given a different dish to the one I ordered. It was tasty but I should have been told that my initial choice was unavailable and given the choice. The salad that accompanied it was 'dressed' in neat malt vinegar. Disappointing to say the least as it was meant to be a small celebration.
We were gifted a tapas and cocktail booking for two at Harveys Cellars. The staff were very friendly, the service was prompt and efficient, and the food and cocktails were excellent. We hadn't been before but will certainly go again.
Don't hesitate to walk down these stairs to enjoy a very nice moment. Their cocktails are exquisite, and the price will not trouble you at all. Staff, service, ambiance, cocktails, food... everything is great ! Give it a try, really
Visited this place for the first time ever Nov 2015. What pleasant owners so friendly and make you feel so welcome was very impressed, the staff were on the ball friendly but also very professional. It is very unique has a lot of history, charm and appeal I will re visit for sure. ***** A Must if your in Bristol!!
It's just not quite as good as Bristol's other tapas offerings unfortunately.
Nice casual place for a wine glass. Not opened all week though.
It was ok but I've been there only once!
Really a nice bar, great staff
Great ambience, service and world class cuisine.
