Our experience was not as bad as others. The staff were actually quite entertaining taking the Mick out of my pals. Lol. We had the fully loaded breakfast each and yet again another different amount to how many can you actually have. 9 this time. So we ordered 5 bacon, 5 sausages, 5 hash brown, 5 black pudding and so on. Of course we could not eat it all. Maybe the max should be 5? Well cooked food, you can't go wrong with a harvester breakfast.
Absolutely aweful. 1 broken knife. 2 shriveled up spinach & roquete 3 2x steak asked well done, both were pink one was still bloody. 1 sent back.4 returned meal had a hair on & steak was still pink. 5 steak was chewy & fatty & grossly 6 tomatoes were burnt & left from lunch time according to manager 7 Gammon was tough. 8 restaurant was freezing cold. It was a very disappointing birthday meal & money wasted, I would not recommend to anyone. The best part was the salad bar
Shocking we ordered our food, waiting 10 mins, waitress came over to inform the Rossiter chicken would not be cooked for another 40 mins. Could we reorder we decided to wait waitress inform us it could be an hour. 10 mins later we was then informed chicken would be another 1.5 hours. We reorder and after waiting 20.mins waitress then informs us they have run out of jacket potatoes!! Finally got a meal which was very dry and mushrooms looked awful see pic waitress said she would inform her manager as a meals were not to satisfactory. Manager never even came over to see us we arrived at 5:15 and left at 7:15 after order 1 main meal.
If you sit near the salad bar, there's a large extractor fan that is incredibly noisy. The takes the shine off an otherwise nice and well priced eatery.
Our waitress Summer was fabulous, we arrived at a very busy time. Despite having her ears chewed by an unhappy customer, she was still friendly and very helpful. No complaints, food was lovely.
Very shocked at how clean Harvesters was and pleased at the quality of food! The GF menu was very thorough although the pages are very busy and could be simplified to make it easier for customers to read.
So just went to the Harvester, probably worst mixed grill have ever eaten. Gammon greasy, chips dry, chicken dry and overcooked, under cooked mushroom, rubbery salad, tomato dry and as for the eggs they were also very greasy We need to make sure that people from Herne Bay see the post before they go and waste money in here. There is a big discussion in the Herne Bay Chatters facebook page at present about the quality of the food... This will also make the papers...
Absolutely Disgusting, supposed to be £18.99 for this, it was over cooked, hard, fatty and full of grisel. No way is this worth the money. Harvester has really gone down hill with expensive prices.
Unexpected lunch enroute to Manston, but had really super steak. Must have been really, good as afterwards I pushed my 'Spitfire' to the limits, and she responded accordingly.
I had previously given a 5 star rating. But after the experience we had tonight new years eve I was thoroughly disappointed. After we were seated at a table next to the kitchens extractor fans which were really very noisy We had booked a table very early in the day it wasn't like it was a last minute decision I had to try and find a member of staff No easy to do to ask the to move us. Once we got a different table service was very slow as the servers were standing on one side having a nice chat and not looking at the customers. I tried and failed for 15 mins to get the attention of a server so we could order dessert at which point I had enough and had to disappoint my kids as the didn't get their pudding and we barely got a half arsed sorry. So disappointed!
