Great food. Welcome at door left much to be desired. I started to ask for a window seat but the guy was half way down the aisle already before I could ask or before he even said welcome. So, we say in the darkest corner where we were put. The waiter however was very sweet & helpful. Food was delicious & I would definitely go again.

WOW! What a fantastic meal and excellent service by Jade, Macie and the team who greeted me & my friend warmly at the door and showed us to a clean well presented table.  I went for The Pitmaster which consists of Spiked maple glazed pork belly, a half rack of BBQ ribs and sticky BBQ chicken wings, with a chunky tomato salsa. Served with mac 'n' cheese and dirty fries. To begin with the food was served piping hot! The ribs fell off the bone and the chicken wings were amazing! I can only describe them as southern fried with a sticky bbq sauce. The pork belly went down a treat along with the chips.  My friend went for the Sirloin Steak, mashed potatoes, peas, tomato and an onion ring. The steak again was served piping hot and cooked with care. All main meals come with free unlimited salad from the well stocked salad bar. Due to the covid restrictions staff request that you approach the bar and they will plate your salad for you.  Overall the general appearance of the restaurant is presentable. Staff are highly trained, execute excellent customer service and are attentive and clearly take pride in there work and the appearance of the public areas. An ample car park is on offer adjacent to The East of England Showground Stadium and a hotel.  There are many restaurants in Peterborough, some are good, some not so good. Jade and her team make the Harvester Alwalton an exceptional experience suitable for the entire family, friends and a firm favourite of so many.

Very enjoyable trip this morning have to say Eva was brilliant she made sure we had everything and that the food was well cooked and presented by chef Ryan it was my first time trying the ultimate breakfast waffle and it was amazing  thank you so much the kids also enjoyed theirs we had no problem in eating every last bite! Definitely recommend and would visit again!

First visit since lockdown. We really enjoyed the fresh salad. The ribs and chicken were delicious. The chips hot and seasoned well. Our waitress was very attentive and looked after us well. We used our meerkat card which saved us on our bill. Definitely be going back soon.

Eva was amazing!! Lovely waitress and she’s not pregnant we made a mistake thinking she was!! - very funny and she took it well! she made our visit memorable - good for Eva. Also the chef filling the salad bar was lovely too apparently she’s the manager but the manager stood there saying I let her think she is - very  funny

The venue was very busy, as there was a show on at the show ground. But we still managed to get seated. We all ordered our meal and they came out all together, Thanks. I ordered gammon with pineapple the meal came on a large rectangular plate with a round container with sweet potato fries, a small one with peas and two onion rings. My meal was tasty but not good value for money

Excellent service from start to finish. Very welcoming and cosy pub with a fantastic menu. We was served by Kamila who was brilliant with myself, my wife and daughter. She was very prompt with service and couldn't do enough for us, she also gave our daughter an activity pack which she absolutely loved! Will definitely visit again.

We went out to celebrate mums birthday dinner there tonight. Our waitress was Kamila who was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, professional and always smiling. I am looking forward to coming back for a wonderful dinner experience.
