Festive menu - great value for money. Service was a bit hap hazard tonight, due to 2 people not turning in, but staff friendly, polite and working very hard, but overall experience very pleasant. Food very good. Steak cooked to perfection. Will certainly be going back soon. You can also use the AA benefits here as well.
First time visiting here today and we were not disappointed! Food was cooked to perfection, service swift and staff friendly and efficient. A comfy, spotlessly clean environment with a great vibe! Easy parking with a wheelchair friendly entrance. Christmas decor looked amazing too! This place is a testament to a great team! Don't hesitate to visit here. There is a good range of food and drink on the menu at very reasonable prices! We will be back for sure! Open 8.00 a.m to 23.00 weekends and 7.00 a.m. to 23.00 weekdays.
Great accommodation, clean tidy. Quiet room on the 1st floor. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable regarding the area. I had a 2 night stay. Fresh clean bedding and towels, room service topped up tea, coffee and milk daily, tidy the room, excellent standard. Had a great meal of chicken skewers with a pint. Very nice.
Great ambience and good food. Staff are friendly and they attend to you really quick. Sometimes it better to book a table before you arrive. Their website has got clear instructions on how to book. Value for money I would say. Drinks are a bit expensive but food is worth if.
Haven't been for years, very nice decor, great atmosphere, food excellent value and piping hot. We had mainly toasted ciabatta and fries, which were all delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Deserts were good too. There were plenty of people eating, which is always a good sign
Just saying, stake and eggs for breakfast. Been twice in the same week. Lovely pub brilliant drinks. Excellent and friendly service even when busy. Curry's are brilliant.
Good breakfast overall. Personal preference but would have preferred 2 sausages. Most places offer 2 on a standard breakfast. Love the bread choices and egg choices. Would certainly go again.
This is a nice pub inside and out. Meals are expertly prepared in a timely fashion and the staff are friendly and polite. I've also spent a couple of nights in their inn and I was pleasantly surprised. Great find - a place I will be sure to recommend and return to.
Avoid avoid avoid!!! Ordered the chicken platter starter, half of the chicken was frier burnt either overcooked or oil too hot imo the other chicken was part raw, we did not eat it, then the mains I ordered a mini mix grill, the only request I made was runny egg, they failed in this as well, my mini grill was poor, my friend ordered a steak with a pepper sauce medium, we were impressed... I have no idea how they burnt the outside overcooked half of it the other half was undercooked. The sauce was terrible. To be clear if we were offered a free meal we would refuse. No check backs for starter or main and the place was dirty, glasses left on tablets, bar left wet with spillages. If I could give minus stars I would minus 5 Hi Natalie, thank you for your reply, I cannot seem to reply so my only choice is to alter this review. I have been twice in the last few months, it was poor the first time and much worst this time, thus the review, when told the staff could not really have cared less, to serve the starter burnt and part raw looks terrible on whoever cooked it, then of course the server allowing it to leave the kitchen, after that there should have been a raise in game from the kitchen and front of house. I could carry on, training is either not given or ignored, I hate with a passion staff handing me my drink from the top of the glass, sure handle where I drink from.... To have any chance a full re-training and raise of game needed, I will not, nor will my friends be attending anytime in the future
Really nice meal at a reasonable price Veggie kebab with a lovely side mint sauce and mac n cheese well presented salad garlic bread chips all perfect..good service friendly and attentive..good parking definatly go again.
