I will never use this garage again. I took my car in due to engine issues, I had used my scanner to check the error code and suggested to them it may be a VVT solenoid issue after providing them with the code I had been getting.nnThey then proceeded to charge me to scan the car, and said they got an error code I had never got before not even sure if they got the code, or just said they did. they then proceeded to change a pipe and said the car was fine.nnI went to pick the car up and the same issue was occuring, even after they said they had resolved it, so I asked to leave it with them.nnThe next day they still hadnt looked at it again so I took the car home which was still getting the original error code I told them about. I therefore replaced the VVT solenoid myself which I orgininally suspected and told them about, and resolved the issue.nnThey therefore cost me over £200 in a false engine scan, and replacing a part which was nothing to do with the issue...nnI suggest not to use this garage as they will likely end up costing you as they dont seem to be experienced auto mechanics.
Called for an MOT and was offered a space the same day!nGreat customer service on the phone including an update on the progress of my vehicle.nFair price and would definitely come back again.n5 stars.
First time using Hartford MOT today amd will definitely be returning. Fantastic, friendly service and great value too. They fitted my car in for a service and MOT at very short notice when another local garage let me down. Open at 730am so I was able to drop my car off nice and early, got a call at 3pm to say it was all ready and no extra work required. Very honest, friendly service and my car is driving great. What more can you ask for! Highly recommend.
