A friendly pub with a well stocked bar, a firm favourite with my Cycling club and many others in Wakey.
Best real ale range in town and great live music Monday and Wednesday
Wonderful little pub with an excellent range of cask beer at very reasonable prices. Even better for CAMRA members with a generous discount. Friendly atmosphere with knowledgeable staff behind the bar.
The finest pub in West Yorkshire, maybe the whole of Yorkshire, or maybe the whole of the country.
Usually full of old people but it's a nice atmosphere and decent beer selection. There is a big in crowd here but if you are old and lonely you might find you fit in well. They all make biscuits and swap recipes and things like that.
A must for real ale fans when visiting Wakefield. Always a good selection of cask beer always well kept. Not a telly in sight, marvellous. Small outdoor drinking area with seating. 2 minutes walk from Westgate railway station.
