Fabulous served, maître d by Gill who was friendly and approachable for the moment we arrived. Provided excellent service and explained menu thoroughly, including portion sizes and order of service. Made sure the food was excellent standards prior to service. Gill went above and beyond to ensure I had the best experience possible. The fish and chips were fantastic, and I have to say it was one of the best I have ever had here. Gill's attention to detail and friendly service made the meal even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if Gill is your server. Five stars all the way! First time ate at this restaurant after listening to the reviews. Amazing food quite the portion, can easily serve 2 people. Cooked beautifully with flavor and the right ingredients. A must try if you visit Cheshire Oaks. Service can be little more prompt as we experienced delays with our order due to understaffing.
The best fish and chips place! Food is very fresh and delicious. Staff very professional and friendly. If I will back against there for shopping it will be mine place for a brake again. 100% recommended this place!Food: 5/5

after tucking into the nicely presented fish and chips as we were hungry. Halfway through the meal the chips were found to be not as crisp as one would expect. Didn’t want to complain as we had scoffed half of the. Staff very friendly and were made welcome when we arrived

My Wife and I hadn’t been for some time. Our visit on Saturday afternoon was brilliant. The staff were helpful and friendly. The fish was the best we have had in many years. Absolutely outstanding. Cannot wait to go back.Recommended dishesFish and Chips
Ok at best. Service not great. Felt like he was doing us a favour by talking to us. Didn’t mind paying at time of ordering but did mind having the payment machine pushed in our face. He could have placed it nicely on the table in front of us. Food portion was really small. More like a kids meal. Just a few token chips thrown on the side. Definitely wouldn’t go back.
Great service from Gill, Erin and Helen! Seated us at a good table to accommodate our wheelchair and babies pram, brought us a high chair with attached table for the little one, chatty friendly and informative. As a side note though would be ideal if guests could order individual take away items when eating in such as a fish cake for those littlest diners who are just starting out with weaning, She shared fish cakes with grandad on this occasion, not that he really wanted fish cake but was the only option to have a single fish cake Otherwise fabulous service and lovely food! Kid-friendliness: No option for individual items for the smallest of diners who are just starting to explore foods! Having this option would be a massive plus point Wheelchair accessibility: Level access and adequate space
Came in on the way round Cheshire Oaks, we were greeted by Gill who kindly found us a table with plenty of room for our pram. She helped us when we were unable to order via the QR code and was generally very helpful. Food was lovely and served more quickly than we expected as it was quite busy! All in all, a good experience.
