I had my appointment yesterday @10:30 Am.when I got to the job centre, it was very clean and the staffs was very polite. I had my appointment with Maria, a very lovely lady, she was very nice, well welcoming, smiling and very mannered. She makes my visit so comfortable, she take her time and explains everything to me in every detail to make sure I understand we even had a little nice conversation . With all the negative reviews I have read, I was being discouraged, thinking my experience is not going to be nice, I left with a smile on my face because of the good service I got. Thanks so much, Maria, for your wonderful service. Keep up the good job appreciate you, love xoxo
Rude and obvious staff! You walk in and they already have an opinion about you like you’re a freeloader or you’re conning the system. Little do they think that people can sometimes be excellent contributors to the community but are just down on their luck. To the staff who work there, you are supposed to help people not look down at your noses, as if you’re so established in life! Like calm down. I walked in and this one African man just had an agenda and started to speak to me from the get go, in a condescending manner. I was there to help someone, not even apply, god forbid how they’d treat me if I actually needed help! Shame on all of you! I pray that one day all those people realise what’s it’s like to be in the receiving end of this! And I’m such an easy going person and to tick me off takes a special kind of moron, so congratulations to the staff here-you managed to get this title.nnAfter seeing the comments-there’s a common theme about the staff feeling superior and like they have way to much power. I know these reviews won’t make a difference, but can you imagine how much better the world would be if someone saw them and acted in this feedback.nnThe one star is for the cleaning staff because you’re the only ones contributing positively!
I used to come in 2019. They placed me on a course to get SIA CCTV which i quit frankly was begging them to get me on. Whilst attending my last days of a 2 weeks course. They had closed my claim without warning out of nowhere. Luckily the college told me they would ensure my badge was still paid for. No apologies from the DWP staff or explanation. Just open up a new claim and wait to get paid rollercoaster.
I was very pleased with my visit today. Very helpful staff; especially the lady who dealt with me.
I've been in my first appointment here with Savitry, she was really friendly and very helpful
