I needed to replace the chain link fence and phoned a few places. Gary was so helpful and patient that I decided to visit the HF yard. Again, Gary went that extra mile to give me the right advice and all that I needed. He is a great asset to his organisation. Very impressed with top-level service. Highly recommended.
Good items fast delivery.
The great thing about these guys is they pretty much always have stock of the items on their price list, and, of course, can order in the fancier fencing panels. The timber gravel boards are sourced from within the UK, but give them a visual check over to avoid those that have warped in the few days since they were standing trees. Would recommend the Executive fence panels. Better quality construction and thicker timber.
Forget anyone picking the phone up and giving advise, go there in person, once there, initially rude and hostile, until they realise I wasn't there to waste time but to make a genuine purchase the attitude changed. Turned out to be a few pounds cheaper than lords so went ahead with the purchase, genuinely need to work on there customer service.
Thay were good but there fences are getting sloppy now, were nails are being noked through and missing the wood the other side, having nails sticking out the other side. And no free delivery no matter how much you spend. I go to travis perkins now a much better fence the same price and free delivery, I think it over £50 pounds.
Great service, reasonable prices and fast delivery...what more could you ask for!!
In a space of 2 years they have put their prices up 4 time. Now they are more expensive than Wickes and other wholesalers also they are struggling to get materials in
Just needed half a dozen battons, a single fence capping and a single trellis. The products are better quality than you would find at Homebase eg. battons are all straight, and better value. The chap in the yard was very helpful and knowledgeable.
