A busy commuter station. There is an abundance of paid parking in the car parks.nServes trains with services to London, Sutton, Brighton, Luton Airport, and Bedford
Good train station, always kept clean and always staff present whenever I've needed assistance. Good shelters as well for poor weather. Feels safe.
There's not really a great deal you can say about a train station that isn't an obvious assumption, but Harpenden is pretty decent as far as they go. Located on the edge of the high street with loads of shops a couple on minutes walk away. Bike racks and car park either side. Two ticket barrier entrances. Four platforms, plenty of fast trains to both London and Bedford via Luton Airport Parkway. Wine shop, coffee + snack shop, reasonable 24 hour platform toilets which have always been totally usable, but most of all a big hat off to the staff - friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. They give rail station staff an excellent name.
Bit of a dash as we were running late, but recieved great customer service from all the staff which enabled to get our train and the onward conection. Thanks to everybody. Great service.
A very modern and efficient little station. Our grandson lives in Brighton and it's lovely to just get on the train here and get off, stress free, at Brighton.
