Adrian - an awful, unprofessional human being. On looking at our soon to be house he sent our report out saying how our roof needs repointing and electrics need looking at which was amazing! Got them sorted before we signed our contracts over. However.... he marked our ceilings at a 1 - very good no work right?? When we moved into the house we noticed the ceiling was cracked and had actually been patched up. 1 week in the patch got a lot bigger and started to sag. Once contacting asking him that its clearly not a 1 and how its on verge of collapse got a response of 'stop over exaggerating' 2 days later my ceiling fell. We got him round to inspect and how he was getting his insurance company to sort the mess out. 3 days later his response was here's 100 pound not that I should have to pay out if your not happy to go the stage 2 courts We sent him numerous photos and videos of stages of our ceiling which should of never got a 1 in the report. He didn't see himself at fault and his attitude was disgusting. No pay out and we are currently going through court proceedings If you want someone you can trust and it reliable and owns up to mistakes go somewhere else DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY! LEFT US GUTTED
I have recently bought a house and asked Adrian to do our survey and he has been absolutely BRILLIANT! From me making inquiries on the internet as i am moving to a new area and did not know any surveyors he has been polite, efficient and kept us up to date. He rang me within minutes of me making the inquiry and made a suitable appointment a few days later. He met us there and he gave some good ideas about updating the property that we had not even thought about. My survey was done in the agreed timescale and it was very thorough and we were impressed with the level of detail in there and nothing was missed. Adrian asked if we had any concerns while he was looking at the property which we did, but now we have peace of mind that these issues were addressed. Would highly recommend Adrian to anyone. Very happy customers!
Would absolutely NOT recommend Adrian's services. At first point of contact Adrian cam across very friendly and helpful. On instructing him to proceed with our survey this quickly changed, I had to on several occasions chase for the appointment to be made with the Vendor. At one point I found a new surveyor, only to receive an email within hours of notifying Adrian that an appointment had been made with our vendor. Convenient! Against our better judgement we continued with Harp Surveyors in order to not cause the vendor any further hassle. We were promised that due to the initial inconvenience caused Adrian would ensure our report was drawn up and sent to us over that weekend, this was not the case and again I chased Adrian. To say at this point Adrian was rude is an understatement! He literally left me in tears quoting "Im very busy and have been out of the office all day you will have your report when you have it" "If you want to cancel you can!" Knowing full well by this point taking my business else where would delay the sales process and inconvenience the vendor. At this point i reminded Adrian that I was also a paying customer and i do not deserve to be spoken to in such a manner. If you cant stick to agreed timescales is that your customers fault? On receiving our report I have found it to be very template driven, vague and in a lot of instances not worth the paper it is written on. His report states he would have recommended a structural survey due to the age of the house yet when i contacted him specifically for his guidance on this matter it was Adrian who advised us we would NOT need the structural report. Adrian was unable to advise me the age of my house, he told me it didn't have cavity walls yet his report states it does? There are so many points I could mention but in no uncertain terms would i recommend doing business with someone who treats his customers with such disrespect and cant keep his promises. I have never created an online review for any business but after seeing another one of Adrian's customers having a similar experience to us and rating him a 1 star I felt it was essential. Interestingly enough the previous customers review seems to have disappeared!
I've found Adrian very honest and great value for money throughout numerous property purchases over the years. Wouldn't hesitate to use him next time.
