I wanted to know if they were the best fish n chips in the village. I enjoyed it no complaints. I had to wait until I got back to Edinburgh and reheated it which I hate to do but I have to admit it was still tasty and flavoursome. Well done!!! Big thumbs up for me
We were meant to eat somewhere else,but due to circumstances beyond our control we were left looking for food in Aviemore at nearly 9pm....We walked passed here and they were still open,but only just.I can honestly say that we throughly enjoyed our food.Dad had a haggis supper and I had a sausage supper.The batter was crispy and very tasty and it was all nice and hot.They have a restaurant but it was closed,but luckily they have a couple of picnic benches outside so we sat there,in the semi dark and really enjoyed our dinner.The staff were lovely would highly recommend giving them a go.
Pet hate, 'fresh battered onion rings' advertised and catering bag frozen and refried onion rings sold! Chips were 40% batter scraps, dredged from the fryer. Dry white pudding supper. Unhappy haggis.
What a horrible takeaway! We were probably like a lot of people who go there in aviemore on holidays and decided to have something to eat. The reviews for that place were OK so gave it a go. As a result we got crazy overcooked "seafood basket" can't even call it a basket, prawns were like biscuits and 90% of the box were soggy tasteless chips The crispy chicken was also overcooked, dry and horrible. Most of the meal went in bin, didn't feel well after. The most exciting thing about this meal was deep fried Mars bars which were also disgusting. Will never ever go back and if this review saves someone from wasting money in this place I will be happy. P. S staff do not wear face coverings
Excellent food. Friendly service. Reasonable price. We were delayed on our travels north, so after reading other reviews decided to stop for our very late tea. Was around 9.30pm & yet still everything was available and cooked fresh to order. The kids had sausage and chips, Hubby had the haggis and chips & I had the seafood basket. All super tasty and perfectly cooked with lovey crisp batter that didn't leave that horrid greasy after taste in your mouth, so must be good clean oil used. Unfortunately we were all so hungry, I didn't get chance to take a photo of the food. All in all, a cracking find & would highly recommend. Kid-friendliness: Staff were polite, and patient with the children, children who often take their time deciding what to order.
We stopped in here tonight for dinner. Wasn't long to closing time. The staff where friendly to me and really curious to each other which was lovely to see. Our meals where lovely. Would definitely come back again.Food: 5/5

Go here for food everytime I'm camping in Aviemore, great wee chippy, I got the seafood platter with chips last time an was perfectly cooked and very tasty, great service an friendly staff to an nice welcoming atmosphere, very tidy an clean too, I definitely going here next camping trip for food can't wait, highly recommend this place, my favourite chippy so 5 stars from me guys

Top quality chip shop!! Pretty standard pricing for the location but the portion was great and the fish was really nice, good crispy batter and tasty fish, the staff were friendly and chatty which was lovely!!Food: 5/5
