Went to the sunflower field weekend. was beautiful seeing all the sunflowers lined up, some young some old. Lots of butterflies & bees enjoying themselves. Great display for taking family photos & they had a maze made with the sunflowers to add a bit of fun for the young ones Admission cash or card is £6 for adults & free for children, but you get to cut 4 sunflowers per adult to take home. Additional ones may be purchased for an extra cost.
This is cosy and beautiful place for walking. However, some of the footpaths don't have enough signs so it might be hard to know where you are. Also, avoid rainy days because you might face muddy footpaths. There is a free parking with limited number of parking spaces which has a bumpy road. We couldn't find any toilets there. There is a Cricket field nearby which you go and enjoy if you want.
We were led to believe that you would be able to see snow drops but there was none. There was also dogs poo that had not been removed. It is good to hear all the birds while we were walking.
Beautiful Park with lots of different fun trails for all abilities .. bring wellies as it can get very muddy! Would highly recommend a visit here :Recommended activitiesWalking
Harewoods National Trust, woodlands is a nice walk. There is a small car park through which you can follow the footpath. When we visited it is autumn and the leaves are falling. If it is wet make sure that you take wallies as the footpath is very muddy. Kids can enjoy the woods building den from fallen branches and wood.
We did the blue bell walk. It was breath taking absolutely stunning. We will be making this a regular walk for us and the family
No need to pay for parking, still a bit muddy so boots recommended. Lovely walk for kids or dogs. Can get very busy so parking could be an issue.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Always a pleasure to have a wander through these woods. The Bluebells here are exceptional. The loop walk which is sign posted is not very long about 30 mins.
It is a great place for a nice weekend walk. The scenery was beautiful and peaceful. I will for sure visit the place in the near future.
Well worth visiting. Lovely walks and views. Just so relaxing.
