I’ve been here a couple of times with my daughter. It’s so retro and modern in one. The films are great and the staff excellent!! All so so genuinely friendly. The view of the harbour and very expensive boats is great while having a coffee and a toasty as well!! Thanks for making our evening!
Always friendly service. A very relaxed atmosphere. Great for young kids with a Toddler Club on Tuesday mornings and Kids Clunlub Saturday mornings. Tickets are great price. Coffee and cake delicious. Lovely place to sit fir a while to relax before going in a watching a great film.
Hands down the best cinema in Southampton, great friendly staff passionate about cinema. Interesting film selections mix of old, new and things you won't find anywhere else
I really like this small yet comfortable theatre. The location is not exactly central, but it's easy to get to and it's right on the coast, so the view is great. The picturehouse shows a lot of art films, old films and foreign films. I came here to watch a Hong Kong movie. You can see the staff enjoys their work as the deco and promotional materials are made to definitely attract. The selection of food and drinks is good, and the out and indoors areas are both comfortable. I would say it's a good place for a show and a drink after.
Good cinema. 4 stars only because staff asked everyone to leave. We came to see sad movie about elephants being abused in Thailand. And it was questions and answers after. Staff came told us to leave the room, which everyone did. However we were taking the pictures with woman who rescued elephants and the queue was inside the cinema room a bit as it wasn’t much room outside and staff was keep telling they need to close doors and asking everyone to move. Otherwise good cinema!
Small cinema with just two small screens. Nice bar area serving drinks and snacks. Can take drinks into the screens. Nice cosy, friendly feel.
It's an alright cinema, wished they'd turn the overhead lights off at the back where the couches are. Lights in your face during a film isn't ideal. Nice view from the café though.
Great place and lovely view over the harbour ? With all the boats. We hired out a private cinema room which was great fun. Friendly staff.
This cinema has atmosphere, history and something that feels somewhat more special than your typical chains. We love to visit when the dog-friendly showings are on, a unique experience that always pleases! Always met with impeccable service, great food and comfortable/clean screens. Cannot fault!
It's so great that they have dog-friendly events! They provide a snuggly blanket for your dog to sit on and there are water stations in case they need a drink. There was plenty of space and all the dogs were really well behaved
