The Harbour Cafe is a community enterprise run for the benefit of the community of Tayport.
It's on the Fife Coastal Path and the Fife Millennium Cycle Route

Nice enough place and the breakfast was fine but come on!! you expect to pay a bit more at coastal cafes but £9.75 for a breakfast my 3 year old granddaughter could polish off and still have room for a mcdonalds that's taking the proverbial a little dont you think?
Lovely cafe, very friendly staff, homemade soup was delicious and served the best coffee and hot chocolate we’ve had for ages. So pleased to see a community cafe busy with locals but I can see why, a definite go to when we’re back in the area Parking: There was parking outside across the road
So cosy and atmospheric by the harbour with lovely homemade small meals and exceptional cakes and scones. I like their coffees and teas. Highly recommended for a little treat.Food: 5/5
This cafe has lovely harbour views, friendly staff, and good food. Local artists artworks adorn the walls, and the cafe has a great atmosphere, perfect for meeting with friends. Vegetarian options: They have plenty of vegetarian options and some nice vegan options too. Vegetarian sausages are available, and very often the soups are vegan. Vegan cheese is available too. Kid-friendliness: High chairs, kids food and drink options and baby change available. Parking: There is free street parking as well as parking by the harbour which often has spaces, though in peak times can be busy. There is no paid parking anywhere nearby as far as I am aware. Wheelchair accessibility: This cafe has an accessible toilet and no step into the cafe itself. Staff are helpful and willing to make the cafe as accessible as possible for you. Dietary restrictions: There are many gluten free options including several cakes, and gluten free bread is available.
Lovely, kind staff. The café makes their own soups and cakes. If we would've lived closer by we would come way more often to try all the cakes as it was hard to pick now. I can certainly recommend the lentil soup, vanilla cheesecake and the caramel brownie.
Run by volunteers ,who are lovely and make everyone welcome .Nice options for sandwiches and everything is super fresh.Salad is freshly cut and prepared .Nothing is any bother .Do a lovely breakfast of Pancakes home made and bacon and maple syrup .Great coffee as well .Not expensive at all.Lots of nice home made cakes that are so fresh . Wheelchair accessibility: All on one level for wheelchairs .

Nice little cafe situated a stone throw from the waterfront. Big breakfast was good, coffee was somewhat a bit of a disappointment. Otherwise overall experience was ok
Was the last customer of the day and facing a long walk home. Despite being close to closing they served me a near perfect americano and the most delicious piece of cake . The staff were very obligingly and friendly. This community cafe is well worth a visit and deserves the support of all those visiting Tayport
