I absolutely loved the place. The interior is ambient and stylish so it's very comfortable but still remains classy. Both the service and food were great quality. The food arrives at your table when it's ready, which is good when everyone is sharing and picking away, but we couldn't believe how much food kept arriving. Good portion sizes, almost needed a bigger table though. Can't wait to go back.
Honestly what a fabulous treat!! We booked into one of the awesome pods outside and it was so cute and nice to have a private booth where we could all chat. The staff were prompt, friendly and helpful in advising us of allergy concerns. The food, just incredible! I would recommend the soup buns that were filled with a delicious chicken broth and burst in your mouth : we ordered a few different plates between us and it was surprisingly filling! The cocktails were also delicious and do non alcoholic versions that according to my sister were very tasty : A last little note was that I loved the fact that the Vietnamese coffee I ordered came in the authentic Vietnamese coffee maker which reminded me of my travels around there : 10/10 will be back again!
A hidden gem for Asian goodies. Lunch sets very reasonably priced and allows you to try several dishes at the same time. Deep fried chicken and spring rolls were both good, while the Taiwanese beef noodles and korean style Bibimbap were amazing. Very friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely come back to try their steamed buns later
Amazing! Menu big, a lot to choose from. Will have to come back to sample more. All staff very friendly. Service quick and food fresh, flavoursome and authentic. Cocktail menu is fab. Winner from me!
I've been to the Dumpling Library twice now. Both times the food has been very good. It's also served very quickly. There are a lot of options, including vegetarian and vegan options. My only criticism is that it can be quite noisy coming from the kitchen. I would definitely go again. Vegetarian options: There are multiple vegetarian and vegan options. They taste great. However, there seems to be only one option that is high in protein: the meat free bao buns. Parking: There is no dedicated car park for this. However, there is public transport to the area and a couple of pay and display car parks close by. Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free section of the menu and also gluten free soy sauce.
Really loved our dinner here. We went for the £32.50 pp option which got you 3 dishes, a side and cocktail and we were really pleased with it. Every dish was amazing and the portion sizes were really good. The cocktails were delicious and since they’re usually £10 each we thought this option was very good value. The service was really quick and friendly and the setting is beautiful.
Took a while to have our order taken/be served despite being the first ones through the door @ 5pm and hard to hear conversation at such a busy time. Food was good but as other people have said, wish the dumplings had more filling. Also some of the ‘small dishes’ on the menu are actually more like main course portions instead of tapas which would usually be great but as a result we over ordered LOL pics to show size. To be honest think it’s a tad overpriced as is. The non alcoholic cocktails were fantastic.
10/10 experience, worth the hype. Food came really quickly and great experience sharing different small plates. Definitely recommend the curried flat noodles and short rib bao buns! Also cocktails are unreal.
An excess of form over content... the place looks nice, the service is friendly, and the food only looks tasty but that's it. I love Asian food but everything we've ordered here was bland and flavorless. Dumpling with soup- flavourless.. pork and sauerkraut dumplings tasted weird. What supposed to be ribs were fat and bones.. slow cooked beef brisket was a big dissapoitment.. on the top of that waiter spilled soy sauce all over my coat.. and the cherry on the cake: we've got a bill with 2 candies.. one unwrapped not going back..
Delicious food...gluten free dumplings and options. Staff are so friendly and attentive. A must visit!
