Booked an appointment with dentist for cleaning my teeth at Hanover dentist, and waited an hour to be attended for the treatment and the hygienist called me in to the treatment room and in five minutes she finished the cleaning job and left all the stain on the teeth with visible improvement to be seen, and they asked me to pay £80 for the privilege.She was rushing me with out achieving satisfactory result in order to carry out another appointment with another patient. I informed her my concerns and she seem to dismiss what I was telling her. I don’t think I will be using this practice again and I suggest people check the reviews before using this dental practice.
A waste of time, it's just a disappointment, firstly, it looks horrible. I had a cavity filling done, i told them it hurt and they told me it would be fine with time, it got worse over time, I had to take painkillers and when I tried to make an emergency appointment, a rude lady simply didn't care, she kept telling me to call every morning at 08:30 for 2 weeks so I just made an appintment, when I got there I was told I need a root canal treatment, which meant I was in excruciating pain, when I went there the same lady wanted to schedule my appointment 4 months later. She had red hair The dentists themselves are friendly, however the women at the desk are just rude and don't care.
Attended today for the first time. It is quite obvious to see the building is under major refurb which isint great on the eye nor on the ears however the clinical areas were clean and tidy & hygiene appeared to be kept to a high standard. I couldn't identify any sterilisation equipment however the dental assistant was in and out of the room delivering & collecting various items. The Dentist, Ashi was lovely. Very thorough, good communication and listened to my concerns. I did not feel at all rushed in the slightest. I must agree with the other patients who have left reviews. Coming from a customer service if 20 plus years back ground I was quite appauled by the cold reception upon arrival, lack of personable and social skills and compete disengagement of the reception staff. It was quite clear to see that they must be feeling the wrath will all of the building work going on but nevertheless I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable and more of an inconvenience whilst stood in reception. Definitely feel some further training is required in this area hense the three stars.
I've had two fillings and a crown fitted in the last month. I have to say switching from private to nhs it's been the right decision. Treatment was great. First time ever, I've never felt pain from injections and the crown looks great. Staff are friendly. The dentist I had was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. Waiting times were around 15 minutes. Glad I joined here. Would recommend to others.
AMAZING! Dealt with my difficult tooth extraction with total professionalism and care Thank you. Such a relief to have found an NHS DENTIST, I would not hesitate to recommend Hanover. There was some improvement work going on in their reception area, and slightly longer waiting times but nothing too extreme. The reception team were excellent at handling this and managing expectations. The new reception is now open.
Been coming to this dental Practice for over 45 years and I was appalled at how disconnected the reception and dental assistance staff are towards the clients. Customer service is paramount and are the focal Point towards their practice. The reception staff were all too busy to even make eye contact and acknowledge you were there on arrival and When watching/listening to the conversations they were having, their body language spoke volumes. The Dentist was very friendly and quick in-fact 3 minutes, in and out! .The hygienist was informative , friendly and professional despite the LONG overdue construction work. These staff members were the only people who took time to speak to me on my visit and seemed happy in their job. I feel that the reception/dental assistant staff require further engagement and connectivity skills towards their clients. As your ethos “We strive to provide high quality care for the whole family in a relaxing and friendly environment.” Is not being fulfilled.
I have needed a root canal and was so scared due to never having any treatment before. The dentist has been really informative through the whole experience, and talked me through each aspect and my options. It was a tricky procedure to do due to my tooth but it’s been a success! The receptionists have been polite, helpful and always taken into consideration an appointment time that fits round a work schedule. Thank you!
The building isn't much to look at, actually I was a bit nervous when I saw the reception area resembles a warehouse stock room, but the place was busy and I can see why, the service was great. Efficient, professional, helpful staff. Busy, but didn't make me feel rushed. The offices are nothing like the reception. Very new looking, very well maintained. I needed a deep clean and the hygienist was really good. Procedure was quick and painless, I was in and out in 15 minutes.
Arrived for appointment to be ignored by one of three receptionists occupied with themselves. Sat for 30 minutes to be told another 2 people still in front of me despite the appointment being at midday. When asked why the waiting area and toilets were beyond dirty was told it was due to renovation. Staff seem hurried, has changed from homely and welcoming to an attempt at a generic sterile environment with the rotation of up selling whitenening products on constant rotation on the TV. If the standard of workmanship for the renovation reflects the practitioners then this will be a once only return to NHS dentistry....however for now it's been rescheduled just to stave away the threat of being dropped from the patients allowed the luxury of an NHS check up.
From start to finish this dentist has been amazing, first appointment today after having left an awful dental practice, the receptionist was brilliant, easily booked in all of us, then the dentist was very informative, and showed great care with our toddler who was quite scared. Our appointment times were kept to and we had lots of information from the dentist himself. After being treated we were shown back to reception who swiftly booked our next checkups! Can't recommend highly enough! A breath of fresh air! Thank you!
