I have been working at Helping Hand for 6 months and it was my first job since coming to the UK, I was a bit scared at first but the entire team welcomed me so openly and it was very reassuring. The staff have been amazing friends and are willing to help with whatever problems I have. I feel like it’s a very rewarding job, helping elderly people as I feel like I’m helping the community. If anybody wants to join a caring job I would recommend not hesitating. I’m proud to work at Helping Hand.
I have been working with helping hands for over a year now and not only is it such a great team to be part of , but it is flexible for me too. I work part time but every member of staff are lovely and all so kind. We all get on so well. The customers are amazing and every day is just so rewarding , knowing you’ve put a smile on someone’s face or helped them do something. It really is a great place to work and The office staff are so welcoming , always so positive and there for support whenever you need it . If you want a job that is as flexible to fit around your home life and also makes you feel that you’re making a real difference , then look no further .
I have worked for Helping Hands for just over a year and recently joined the Cheadle team. The manager Gemma and CTP Claire work together with the care team to provide an exceptional tailored service to our customers. I have worked in the health sector for 12 years and feel lucky to be part of a team that that truly cares and puts the needs of the customers and carers first.

I started to work for Helping hands last year, I was lucky enough to gain the position- Care and Training Practitioner for Cheadle branch. I have worked within the health care sector for over 20 years, I feel privileged to work with such a dedicated, experienced team who truly care. They truly go above and beyond. Gemma the branch manager has excellent care values and is customer focused. Maonei the care co-ordinator is very person centred. Together with the excellent care support staff Helping hands is an excellent home health care service, offering an outstanding service.
Iv been a carer for the Cheadle Branch for 15 months now it's been a difficult time with Covid and management changers over the last 6 momth. The management team are excellent and the other carer's are fantastic and dedicated to looking after our customers and of course we get on so well . Which makes it work .
Tracy provided an overnight carer for a week, at very short notice, for my mum for the transition from hospital to home. The carer was exceptional and gave my mum the confidence to sleep in her own home knowing that help was there if needed. The care was completely tailored to my mum's needs and she was able to move to the next stage of sleeping on her own and regaining her independence. I would highly recommend Helping Hands and I would not hesitate in returning to them for long or short term support in caring for my mum.
Helping Hands Cheadle is a very warm and welcoming place to work with fabulous support and great staff. I honestly cannot fault it.
