If you aren't a fan of milkshakes with your burgers your experience of HBC could be quite different. We love our milkshakes and found HBC to be profoundly disappointing in this regard. We had an Oreo milkshake with extra malt, and aside from the Oreo bits, the consistency was about the same as chocolate milk. For more than £5 per shake it felt a complete rip off. The flavour was okay, but it was in no way a milkshake. We asked our server about it, whether they use any ice cream, and she said they have a recipe they have to follow. The burgers were fine, the blue cheese and bacon one in particular was very tasty. The bacon was a little on the salty side, but still passable. In short, we won't be going back, but it's not because of the burgers.
The burger was really good quality and very tasty. The Mexican chips were very spicy even for a spice lover, but still enjoyed them. Service was very friendly and quick.
Always good. Friendly service, they cater well for those that require gluten free. Buns come sealed and Belgium Double Chocolate Cheesecake

I love burgers and trust me when I tell you this place does one of the best burgers in the North East, if not UK. It's all about the prime beef.
Edited January 2020. Used to be a great place to eat but not so much after a recent menu change. Choice of food items dramatically reduced in the new menu, portion sizes seem to have decreased as well. The price, on the other hand, increased. Things that are still on the menu are not as good as they used to be pulled pork a bit rubbery, chips are soggy and the new stuff is just not as good. On the plus side, this is still one of the best restaurants in terms of quality of service and friendliness.
Unbelievable burgers. One of the best restaurants in the Metro Centre. Awesome puddings too. Coming again!
Excellent food with first class service. Staff are polite and friendly and can't do enough for you. Food is competitively priced but much nicer and more abundant than similar establishments. We got an excellent deal with having cinema tickets for the Odeon next door so it's well worth checking if anything like that is running.
Visited here tonight. Long time since I visited the company years ago when it was in Newcastle. Greeted at the entrance by a very professional and well mannered gentleman. Order was taken by a very polite young lady. As much as my food wasn't as expected, they quickly resolved the issue and couldn't of been more understanding and helpful. As an overall dining experience it's maybe something I wouldn't jump at again. But as for customer service, the two people working the floor and even the chef I spoke to briefly are a credit to your company. Customer service is key and your staff truly delivered that.
It was ok. I felt for the price the burger could be a bit less dry and tough. Nicely cooked just the right amount of pink but really d9nt know why it was so dry and tough. Chips were great had the Denver ones and the sauce wow. Would I go again, to be honest I don't think so.
