Two stars because the pizzas are good when they do it right. However. The last three times I have ordered from them there have been issues, from taking nearly 2 hours to deliver, to missing toppings or random additions. The final straw was last night, given a 30 minute delivery time, after 45 minutes I called and was told that 'the driver is on the way', (heard that before, as have others reading reviews) I live 2 minutes away by car/motorbike. Pizza arrived 20minutes later, cold, and missing some of the toppings. Think I'll go back to Firezza, at least I can walk there so they can't mess me around. Pizzeria Pappargone are also great value for money!

Some of the best pizza I've had in London. Always very friendly and the atmosphere in there is brilliant. Would recommend to anyone.

Really disappointed with our order tonight. I’ve ordered from Hana Maria many times before and really enjoyed their food. It was sometimes a few minutes late and leukwarm but tonight they took the piss. I called at the expected delivery time and was told the driver had left. That was a lie as I’m only 10 minute drive down the road. Then I called after a further half hour and was given a flustered answer about contacting the driver and getting back to me. At this point I said I wanted to cancel ( I was paying cash). Finally when the pizzas (1.5 hours late) arrived I was so annoyed and asked the guy why it was late. He said he left the restaurant 10 minutes ago. I felt sorry for him as he didn’t speak much English and I said I wasn’t angry with him. Of course they got the order wrong as well. Such a shame as I really liked their food but won’t be ordering from them again.

We have ordered from Hana Maria previously and been happy with their pizza. After our experience this evening, however — and the mistreatment I personally received from the Hana Maria management —, we will never order from Hana Maria again. In summary: Hana Maria staff lied to us about our order status when we questioned why it was already 25 minutes past due. Our delivery finally arrived an hour and forty-five minutes after we placed our order (therefore a full hour past due, and we live 5 minutes from the restaurant). It was at best lukewarm, and was additionally delivered incomplete. And after an initial expectation was raised on delivery that Hana Maria, in compensation for the inconvenience, were not going to ask for payment on our order (which we considered generous, but in the circumstances entirely reasonable), the restaurant manager then did an about face and demanded payment in full. He proceeded to lie to me about how he had already discounted our order ‘because of this’ — which he had not. After I pushed back, he insisted that the most token of discounts (£3 off a £26 order) was ‘all he could offer’. And he told me quite brusquely that ‘if I never wanted to order from Hana Maria again, that was up to me.’ This has been a singularly unpleasant, alarming, and completely off-putting experience. A real shame: decent pizza, but absolutely APPALLING service.
