Very impressed with this firm. We needed two rings adjusted and this was achieved with expertise and speed, returned to us in just a few days. We also had an old watch (at least 60 years old) which no-one could mend. Hamptons were confident it could be sorted out and this, too, was finished within a few days. The price was, I felt, reasonable and competitive. We also needed a watch strap (done for us immediately) and we purchased a new inexpensive watch from a modest but very attractive range on display. Their own experts are clearly very good and the items are not sent away to some distant and faceless centre. But also, the advice we received in the shop was excellent. Clear, well-informed and very 'on the ball'. Totally different from the sort of responses received at major city-centre jeweller chains! There's no doubt where we will go in the future. I'm just sorry we don't have more jewellery items needing attention as it was so refreshing to find such good quality service (and, no, I don't have any connection to the shop - I found it on the internet and it is not far to get to from where we live!).
