Heather Roberts and the whole team at Hamptons Oxford were exceptionally helpful and efficient during the recent sale of our home in Headington. Communications were excellent, any small hitches were dealt with rapidly. We achieved a good price for the house and the sale went through quickly. I would definitely recommend them to others.
I am writing to tell you about an excellent job done by Heather Roberts, Tatiana Rebbeck and the team at Hampton sales in Oxford. We have just sold a grade 2 listed cottage in brill, Oxfordshire At a price of £507,500. We initially contacted a local agent in nearby Thame And their recommendation was to market it at around £400,000, because it was in only fair condition it was unmodernised. We then contacted Hamptons Oxford through whom We have been letting the property for many years and Heather Roberts suggested offering it At offers Above £500,000. The online photos and wording about the property Done by Hamptons was excellent, and We felt showed the property to its best. There were a lot viewings but none made offers because they said the condition was not good enough. However, a property developer who is proposing to do up and extend the property did make an offer and we have sold to him. We are extremely pleased, because Hamptons have got us probably £100,000 more than we might otherwise have received! Many thanks indeed.
Nita at Hamptons is probably the smartest real estate agent I have ever met ! She invested time , energy & researched into how best to list my property in Abingdon and I was very happy with the results . Im fact. 'Heather at Hamptons' - That was what came up on my phone. Well Heather at Hamptons was absolutely brilliant. Professional. She got to know what we needed, what was available and what worked. For us, she sold a grade II Listed building in a flood zone - which by the way has never flooded. She worked around times for viewings, family life and just was so helpful. About the office, Heather has the back up of Carol-Anne, who was also wonderful should Heather not be available. If all were busy Tatiana would answer the phone and in a very calm manner set all worries aside and confirm that one of the ladies would be in contact soon. I was selling a HOME I have lived in for 32 years, a big deal to me, I moved in when I was 20, brought up a family and was now ready for a downsize. The house is decorated to my taste. There was no - well I think we should do this. Heather worked with what she had. And what a fine job she did. We sold and although there were a few stumbling blocks it went smoothly. There is no such thing as a ‘Hamptons House’, they were more than happy to help sell my 3 bed semi-detached property. From our first contact with them, Carol-Ann was fantastic. We felt in safe hands; her market knowledge was excellent and no hard sales techniques were employed, unlike with other agents we had look at the property. Heather Roberts then took over with the day to day contact, and the house was sold within just a few days. Everyone from start to finish was great. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all very understanding with our somewhat stupid questions at times. I could not rate them more highly – a knowledgeable, professional and well-run team. From the moment we met Charles we knew we had made the right decision to sell our house through Hamptons International. Having had a bad experience with our previous agents we decided to change and are so pleased we did. Day one and our first viewing was scheduled. All of the team are a credit to their profession. In what has been a testing market they have delivered and exceeded expectations providing excellent service from start to finish. A special mention must go to Carol-Anne who ultimately secured a buyer for us and has kept us updated throughout the selling process. I am currently looking for a property in Oxford and I have to say Heather Roberts at Hamptons could not be more helpful. Heather is incredibly responsive, practical and knowledgeable. She makes what could potentially be a stressful experience a very positive one. Heather is an absolute delight to deal with, has a great sense of humour and is probably the best estate agent I have ever dealt with – and there have been many over the years! When I sell again, Heather will be the first person I call.
