We stayed here a week. The room was outstanding. Very minor improvements to the breakfast could have been made. The feedback we shared with the manager who was sympathetic and listened. It would be wrong to take a star away for a few minor details regarding the breakfast considering the outstanding price and quality of the stay.
We booked this hotel for 6 days and wow what an experience. First of all the staff were all amazingnThe hotel was absolutely spotless and the room was outstanding. Wow what a bed it was so large you could sleep 4 in it and it was so comfortable and the pillows were amazing. The hotel was so quiet we thought we were the only 2 staying there but when you went for breakfast we could not believe how many people were staying in the hotel. The breakfast was also amazing you had the choice of buffet style cook breakfast or continental would definitely stay here again
This hotel has an excellent town centre location for anyone visiting Rochdale, especially by car, as it is conveniently located near the ring roads and very accessible. The town centre is a 2 minute walk away. The hotel does not have its own car park but uses the adjacent Riverside car park, charging a very reasonable £5 for a 24 hour stay. There are no great views of of the windows but the sound proofing is very good and one can get a very good nights sleep without any intrusive street noise.nnThe hotel is very new and the rooms are excellent. The super king sized beds are very comfortable, the soundproofing is excellent, the air conditioning is very controllable and decor is fab for a 3* hotel. The free basic breakfast offered to all guests is nothing exciting, however, it really adds value and convenience for guests and Hilton should applauded for including this in the price; as its competitors charge an additional £10 on average for the same standard of breakfast.nnThe customer service was very good for a 3* hotel chain but let down by the 3 gentleman on reception during the night shift, as they ignored my family and I as we walked pass them on our retun from an evening event and had no interest in speaking to me when I asked them a question. In contrast, the two ladies on duty during the daytime were extremely helpful and friendly, and facilitated an early check-in without any hassle. I found the customer service was much better at the branch in Blackburn overall.nnAt the time of writing, the value for money at this hotel was unparalleled at this price point.nnOverall, I recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.
Lovely hotel all round. Staff extremely helpful, thanks to Patricia for our extra towels. We booked to stay for 2 night during the feel good festival in Rochdale, we ended up booking an extra night.nRooms are very comfortable, huge TV, SMEG fridge and kettle, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Full breakfast is included with a good selection, hotel bar and food menus are also available.nA fitness room is on the 1st floor with all the usual equipment.nExcellent shower with toiletries.nLocation is good, right behind the shopping centre and close to transport. Car park is next to the hotel for a small charge per night and pets are allowed at an extra charge.nWe would definitely stay again when visiting the area .
We had a wedding that we attended in Blackburn and wanted to get a hotel nearby. We went with this hotel and I can truly say the service I have been given has been amazing. We had 6 rooms booked and arrived at the hotel at midnight. We had a few suitcases which a gentleman called Hassan offered help many times. He checked us in so quickly and made sure we were okay. Matthew who was on the night shift with him was very helpful with the questions we asked as we are not from Rochdale. Thankyou so much gentleman for making our stay special.
