We were very impressed with this hotel. It was one of the cheapest in the area and provided a comfortable and well located place to stay for our trip, with breakfast included in our room price.nThe rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. They provide everything you may need for a short stay including towels, shower soaps, hot drinks and a mini fridge.nThe breakfast included in our room price was a welcome start to each day. It's nothing fancy but there is a good spread to fill you up before your day starts. You can also return for more as many times as you like.nWe stayed here to hike the Tolkien Trial and then travel to Liverpool. The hotel is about 30 mins from the Tolkien Trail and 1 hour from Liverpool. It made a great HQ for us while we were traveling around the area.nWe would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in that area again.
Room had no fully hot water just luke warm. Staff are not trained properly to deal with the breakfast rush. Dirty tables, no cutlery, no food.nnAc doesnt go above 23 degrees and when you ask staff to fix issue, you get broken promises.nnAlso no water bottle provided in the room.nnStaff need proper training. 3 times a lady tried yo barge into our room and at 12.30 a member of staff came to my room telling me I need to leave doe I was staying 2 nights.nnOverall a horrible 2 night stay and would not recommend at all. Your genuinely better off going premier inn as you get the basics but they all work. Or driving 30 mins extra and staying in Manchester.nnWith this hilton its very basic and nothing works.nnGo elsewhere!
We stayed up here for an away football.match, what a awesome hotel. The bar area was spacious and even had a pool table which was a great bonus. We had a twin room and honestly I will trying to stay at Hiltons from now on. Had 2 spacious beds bigger than a single. Great shower and toilet and a 55 inch TV. Just over the road is a great petrol station with a real American vibe going on. Also McDonalds and KFC
Not a great experience. Two staff on obviously struggling. Couldn't get into the first room , second room smelt of smoke and someone had had a wee in the toilet and not flushed so I doubt the room had been cleaned. The receptionist did offer a refund at this point, instead I was given a free meal which was nice. The meal took an hour and a half to arrive and half way through eating the burger I found that the patty had cooking foil stuck to the bottom, god k ow how much I'd consumed. I raised it but there was nothing to do, I couldn't be bothered to wait for a new one. Apart from the faulty towers bits the rooms are nice, good decor and comfortable bed.
The hotel is very nice and the staff is wonderful. Breakfast is included which s niceespecially the make your own waffle but they should skip the little pain au chocolatits dry and hardnThe room was a nice size.
