I work in Soho and like to take a bus up to Hampstead Heath for a nice walk. Luckily I live along the Overground route in North West London so it is great to use the Overground. Hampstead Heath is a lovely open, clean and well kept station. There are often staff up in the ticket hall helping people and giving travel advice. I love the Overground line except the engineering work on Sundays and Hampstead Heath is a really nice station to pass through.
Beautiful park, really good for all joggers, dog walkers and families, pensioners. Lots to see!!
A good station but since it is the overground there are often cancelled trains.

My second visit to Hampstead Heath since last year and it's a great place to go for walks in the forest and spending time with nature. Make sure you check out golders Hill Park, Golders Hill Pond and Walled Garden and Golders Hill Park Deer Enclosure. The asmosphere here in this neck of the woods is a friendly and calming place! The station could be more cleaner near the seating area as I suppose the intoxicated weekenders left their disgusting alcoholic substances on the floor! Nice! Otherwise, definitely worth a visit on the overground! :
Very ,very nice staff but the lifts are disgusting Don't think that the station have any cleaners!
Great station which still retains some of its original features on the platform but updated too. There's a very friendly coffee booth and a community garden which is accessible from the platform and in the summer has vegetables you can take! This is quite an unusual feature for a london train station.
Small outdoor overground railway station. There is staff on the site. Staff is very helpful. Commuter trains are every 10-15 minutes. A lot of cafés and shops around it. Located next to Hampstead Park. Also, there used to be a café on one of its platforms. Please note that you are reviewing a railway station, not a park
What a great station. The 4 gates are especially fun at rush hour with people jostling for space with the odd middle class skirmish like “oh well I thought I was next!” - brutal. There’s also a fruit and veg shop at the entrance which makes this a 5 star station and not a 2 so be sure to buy something.
