Booked a last minute overnight stay as we were celebrating a friend's birthday locally. Staff were really helpful on arrival. The room was spacious, clean and modern better than expected. The buffet breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. It was a relaxed atmosphere, didn't feel rushed or in the way. We would definitely look to book another Hampton stay.

Very conveniently located just off the M65 on the edge of Blackburn. Across the road from a small service station which has a supermarket, KFC & Starbucks. Many might be put off with the hotel being located next to an industrial estate, but you don't get affected at all by any works traffic. The windows are very well soundproofed. The reception & dining area is a nice and large open space, with plenty of seating options. Snacks and drinks are for sale at reception all day/night which is good. All the staff I encountered were excellent, as expected. I was greeted with a smile and a hello upon check in, then every time I left or returned I was greeted, which is a great touch of customer service. Whoever trained these staff did a brilliant job! The room itself was nice and spacious, the 'sofa' or seating area next to the bed was a welcome addition, as well as the fridge. TV was very big, which is good. There is a fixed shower head & a handheld one, it's great you get a choice. The only downside is that the pillows are way too soft so your head ends up resting on the mattress, so take your own pillows if you can. I'll certainly do this next time. For the price I paid, which is the average rate by the looks of it, I say it was more than value for money, I will definitely be staying again at some point, especially to visit surrounding areas.

Booked in last minute on New year's Day. Staff at reception very friendly, professional. Explained the costs of the room, where to get breakfast from how to connect to WiFi and how to contact reception should I require it. Room was comfortable, well equipped, bed was very comfortable had a good sleep.Breakfast was included, wide range from continental to waffles and everything in between. I went down towards end of service and still plenty of food available. Staff friendly and welcoming, helpful.

Stayed here back in December on a three night coach party trip. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Dinners were fantastic. Breakfast was great and room were comfortable and warm. Had a fantastic stay. Thank you Rooms: Comfortable beds, great shower and a lovely fridge. Food & drinks: Excellent service and food for dinner and breakfast. Coffee machine was excellent

Stayed here a few times. Staff are always great, welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is excellent and they have a nice reception/bar/restaurant area. Bedrooms are always clean and nicely decorated. Love the smeg kettle and fridgeRooms: 4/5

Good hotel and great rooms, great breakfast and good cleanliness. Everything you can expect from a well established chain hotel. My only problem was that they were unable to help me when I asked to use a microwave. I travel for business and therefore don't want to spend money at a restaurant or takeaway every night so brought my own food which I intended to heat up but I was denied the use of a microwave which was quite frustrating

This is a really nice hotel. Excellent location just off the motorway, plenty of free parking and food options nearby. The breakfast isn’t gourmet but there’s loads of choice which is brilliant with kids and they have high chairs available. Hot showers, comfortable pillows and modern decor in the rooms made it all the better. I would recommend it to anyone stopping in Blackburn

Excellent customer service and lovely room. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I loved the look of the hotel and the room was superb. I would like to single out Lizzy and Victoria for their attention to detail and customer service.Rooms: 5/5

It was clean and fresh. I am sure it is convenient if you are coming by car but a bit of a pain I was booked in by someone else if coming by public transport. Breakfast ok but evening food very limited and most people seemed to be having it delivered!
