Couldn't better our experience.  Found Hammond Hill whilst "Googling" for someone to supply & fit Brintons Bell Twist carpet & Duofelt underlay locally for our lounge, dining room & master bedroom. Simon came out very quickly to measure up & immediately we were convinced it would all work out well given his obvious knowledge & experience.  Firstly, the quotation was amazingly competitive & fully detailed explaining everything, so no nasty surprises, which we had found was the case with others. They even managed to fit us in before our imminent holidays in August, and fitters Rick & Frank were fantastic, and went way over & beyond what we expected of them, as our previous carpets were fitted so badly. We are now so proud of our newly decorated lounge & dining room & couldn't be any happier.

Highly recommended!! Unsure as to what flooring to have in my hallway, I visited Hammond Hill and met with Chris who was extremely knowledgeable and recommended some Karndean flooring. I was un-hurried and no pressure sales. Just a relaxed informative meeting with lots of different options discussed. The appointment was made for fitting and the fitter arrived one day to screed the floor and the following day the flooring was laid. Totally hassle-free, on time with no delays, all rubbish and left-overs taken away. The fitter was polite, friendly and respectful. Most importantly - the flooring looks AMAZING!! Thank you so much.

What a great service from start to finish.  Simon came out and gave us lots of advice on which carpet we should choose.  Rick and Will were the nicest carpet fitters you could have wished for.  My hubby was working away and they even moved heavy pieces of furniture for me.  Very competitive prices and an excellent service all round.  Would highly recommend Hammond Hill, in fact a friend has booked anow appointment for next friday

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. Ordered carpet through their great website which was informative and very easy to use. Ordered on Monday and it was delivered by two courteous drivers three days later.  Hammond Hill gave me advice on which underlay to use with underfloor heating and also recommend a carpet fitter.  They obviously get very busy as on a couple of occasions when I called all of the sales staff were serving customers so I left my details and received a prompt call back.  Five star service from a Five star company.

Excellent service from start to finish. This is the second time we have used Hammond Hill once for fitting carpets and once for laminate flooring. Both times the fitters have been brilliant,  we would definitely recommend them.

Hammond Hill have just finished supplying and fitting our Karndean flooring downstairs hall, dining room, playroom, cloakroom and the service we received was exemplary from start to finish. It turned out to be far from a straightforward job as when they pulled up our old laminate flooring they discovered large patches of extreme dampness in the hallway. They were extremely thorough in getting to the bottom of, and treating the cause of this issue. It took nearly 2 weeks for the floor to dry out and Simon, Chris and fitters Mark and Craig didn't rush the process at all, wanting to get make sure everything met the exact manufacturers guidelines before laying down the flooring. They helped us hire a dehumidifer,  called in advice from a plumber contact as well as giving advice on how to mitigate against further dampness, and at least one of them was round daily to check on the progress. Once we finally were able to have the flooring fitted when the concrete was bone dry and a damp proof membrane applied Mark and Craig did a fantastic job of laying the flooring. A really professional, lovely finish and also completed in very good time. Thanks to the whole team for your attentiveness to the job and professionalism! We will be using you again if you will have us!!! for our future kitchen extension.

I ordered a carpet from Hammond Hill as it was the cheapest place I could find the carpet I wanted.  I placed an order over the phone as their website was not allowing me to order online. I placed my order and never recieved a confirmation email. I phoned them everyday  sometimes more than once a day for 6 days until I was told they never put my order through. When they did eventually put my order through I was never informed when it had arrived in store, I was even told on the phone by one female worker; "we've had a delivery but how would I know if it's yours?" Just to top it off my phone bill had an extra £25 charge on it purely from all the calls I had to make to chase Hammond Hill for my carpet.  Awful awful service but to be fair when my carpet did arrive it was absolutely perfect.  EDIT In response to Hammond Hill's reply, it would show on the system that Hammond Hill processed my order in 5 days... as my order was never put through by them until the 6th day I rang.  The number I found on their awful website was an 0844 number.. hence the £25 charge. There very rude  receptionist did promise me a call back, but this never happened.  I will update this review if I ever get my £25 refund.  Edit - received my refund of £25 and Hammond Hill also made a £20 donation on my behalf to a charity of my choice.

Quoted and agreed to fit carpet around September 2020, 3 months after the house was totally gutted and rebuilt, Chris the director changed his mind refuse to fulfill the quote he personally gave me, as it’s not a new build or I’m not a trade customer. I guess Chris. Certainly not fair considering my circumstance. What....? Does my builder need to call and request him to come? I wrote a lengthy email to Chris and the team pleading for them to come but I got so response what so ever so this negative feedback is deserving. In the end I used another independent carpet supplier and fitter.

We first used Hammond Hill in 2013 at our house in Hampshire and had no hesitation in contacting Hammond Hill again to help us with all our carpet needs for our recent house renovation at our new property in West Sussex - again it was a pleasure to deal with Chris and the team - the fitters have certainly not lost their touch and the carpets were fitted expertly - again a big thank you Hammond Hill for yet more excellent service - would not hesitate to contact Hammond Hill again - thank you everyone !!
