Faultless from start to finish. I booked last minute and Paul, please know your flexibility was incredibly helpful; allowing us to check in much earlier than usual was a huge help to our plans and for that alone we'll stay at Hamlet House every time we come to the area going forward. Paul was welcoming, told us all we needed to know and then left us to it. Perfect. We saw him again for breakfast the following morning included in the very reasonable price! - and holy ship, it was delicious! Good quality ingredients make such a difference. There was so much to choose from too. I don't usually eat brekkie but couldn't resist a tiny fry up and it really was as great as a breakfast can be. My partner said the coffee was really great too. The room had everything we needed for an overnight stay, while the decor isn't glamorous, it is quirky and I liked that. Clean, comfortable bed, nice pillows, quality towels and wifi included. Thanks and we'll see you again next time!
Friendly welcome from Paul, the owner of Hamlet House. We had room 1, first floor at the back of the house, with spacious ensuite shower room decent shower! Comfy bed and lovely breakfasts, with a wide range of choices. Not far from the town centre, so easy walking distance to good eateries, all the major Shakespeare attractions, etc. 2 parking spaces on front of the house, so only problem is if these are occupied when you get back from a day out in the car and they're taken. Ideal place to stay if you are on the train.
Fantastic location within a short, easy walk to all the tourist hotspots of Stratford upon Avon. This B&B is hosted by PaulMr Shakespeare who is a mine of information about all things Stratford and couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. He cooks the best breakfasts you could possibly wish for with lots of choices and all locally sourced, top quality ingredients. We arrived by bicycle and he provided secure storage for them, another tick We shall definitely return and we highly recommend this great B&B Our 2 visit in May 2023, lived up to our expectations and more. We stayed in room 1 at the rear with a huge ensuite and just the sounds of bird song. Paul is still producing the finest breakfasts with a special mention to his homemade orange marmalade to accompany the toast, Mmm!
Good value and great location. Parking is tricky as while he has 2 spaces out the front there is no slope on the kerb for you to drive up so you have to drive along the pavement a bit which can be tricky if there are other cars there. But this was only a minor point in an otherwise terrific stay. Breakfast is cooked fresh to order and is superb. The host is knowledgeable and friendly
Amazing location and great stay overall, felt very welcomed by our host Paul who went extra mile to make our stay special. Tasty breakfast is included in price of the room which is a great value. Definetely will be coming back next year.Rooms: 5/5

Great host, clean rooms, good location walking distance to all major attractions with car parking space. Breakfast had extra options not available from a hotel like omelet or salmon.
