Great place to spend a quiet afternoon, maybe a picnic. Great for long walks and sports. It's a bit loud as it's located next to a busy part of the motorway but that's something you won't notice after a while.
Played cricket match here. Artificial wicket. Shorter square boundaries one side. Outfield is grassy and hence slow. Overall good place. All major. Sprots playing facilities available - football, tennis etc.
Surprisingly spacious very accessible people were kind and considerate and my sons football match went amazingly beautiful park to walk round too 5star from me
Large public areas for exercise and local sports pitches for football etc.
The park we play on are 5g well kept and the showers are always clean
Good facilities for football with a number and variety of pitches. Downside is the river running close behind the goals. Second game in a row here that we have lost a ball in there, and they aren'tcheap. Some extra fencing/hedges behind the goals would help stop this happening
Really nice for a causal evening stroll or walking the dogs
Palace grounds behind the sports complex is an ideal area for my 7 year old to learn and practice riding his bike.
Flooded everywhere and half the lights not working...
This place is massive. Plenty of grass and AstroTurf pitches for 5's and 11's. Also rugby and cricket. There is also a covered plastic pitch and a separate hall for meetings. Check availability though as can get busy. Staff are great and facilities are excellent. Easy to get to and fully wheelchair accessible.
