I would just like to say a huge thank you to Phillipa, the receptionist at Hall Grove Surgery. I was there a couple of weeks ago with my grand daughter and she was so helpful and kind to us. Phillipa went above and beyond to get my grand daughter seen, and is now awaiting surgery for a serious health issue.nOther receptionists at this practice would do well to follow her lead when dealing with patients who need care and support, maybe go the extra mile for them, as Phillipa did, and not just disregard them because they feel they are not urgent enough for an appointment. That diagnosis should surely be with the GP.nThank you Phillipa.
I changed to this group from Peartree and so far they have been nothing but amazing, far from perfect but who is and in comparison to my previous GP surgery they are 1st class. I have a number of very complexed issues and I can't believe for one minute that they can rectify the problems of the past in just a couple of weeks but at the minute I cannot doubt them. If I had one moan I would say the receptionist are much better and approachable at Park Way. Otherwise I would have given them a 5*
I’ve been so frustrated with this surgery that this forum seems like the only way to communicate.nnIt’s almost impossible to get any kind of service at this surgery as everything is placed as an obstacle to prevent you seeing a doctor.nnWhen you first call you are made to listen to an extended recorded message with various limitations being pointed out, how busy the surgery is etc. you are invited to book an appointment on the econsult in the morning after 8:30.nnThis year I’ve needed the service three times. On all three occasions I’ve been sent to the econsult. In all three occasions the econsult has not been available due to high demandnnRecently I had a foot operation was told to contact my surgery for pain relief. As usual the consult wasn’t available having had to wake myself first thing three mornings in a row only to find the consult wasnt available. As I didn’t need a doctor only a prescription I waited for a call back. I received a call back, requested my prescription. The receptionist told me someone would text me with it.nnThat was a week ago. I’ve not received anything, phoned today to find the surgery is not taking calls because it’s too busy and there is no consult.
Absolutely terrible. Have left me with no medication YET AGAIN because of their complete incompetence. Rude reception staff, uncompassionate older female gp who made me feel invisible and didn't even look at me. Furthermore, this surgery cannot organise tests and fail to record accurately. I am very glad to not be a patient here now and have to persistently chase for things correcting.nnEdited to reply to the surgery - shows the level of incompetence doesn't it, I left you in June this year and joined you in 2019. The review is a legitimate one and most definitely for your practice
Like many here and I am betting my life it’s the same receptionist in light of someone else saying they have been hung up on as happened today. In terrible pain and brushed off and spoken to like a piece of dirt, literally like a non human by this receptionist, with absolutely no compassion or patience! I couldn’t get my words out I was in shock at being fobbed off to another clinic and she hung up on me! I have looked everywhere to try and raise a complaint against her and there is absolutely no access to this. You should be ashamed of yourselves and that receptionist needs to go! I have had issue after issue ignored and overlooked and was once told to stop crying because I was making them feel uncomfortable!! Requested a call from the Practice Manager, her attitude was just as bad and with bad reception we organised a call the next day. She didn’t even bother!
