Went in to seek advice on making a transfer with a customer of the bank. Even though the staff were unable to help due to not having the bank card. The member of staff called Tom was completely disinterested with our query and said there was nothing he could do... very short one word answers then turned his back and actually walked away leaving us wondering what to do! We left and called telephone banking who again advised us to go into branch as they SHOULD be able to help. Terrible customer service. Thank god I don't bank with Halifax Macclesfield!
