Went in to have my side bulbs changed. Assistant called the guy- who said he would not change it as the entire fitting needed to come off- directed me to a garage. Purchased the bulbs and called a friend when I got home. There is a simple catch- literally 3 mins and he changed them. Thanks for nothing guys
Excellent service from Dazz when I took my car in for a 10-point free check. He found a couple of things amiss, which he corrected. Edit: however, not so good when he told me that I could have a free audio check on my factory-fitted car radio that wasn’t working well. I booked a meeting but when I got there I was told that Halfords only test radios sold by them! Grrr!
Extremely helpful, quick and efficient in fitting a new battery and explained the offers to sign up for to save the most money. Would always go there for quick repairs.

I ordered replacements parts for my car over the phone, having specified make, model, year, and registration. Despite that the wrong parts were supplied. But the store salesman said “well, you ordered them” implying it was my mistake! That is not the way to deal with customers. He did at least exchange them for the correct parts.
I was looking for a spare bulb set for a EU trip. I didn't know which headlight bulbs I had. Paul, a halfords operative, did nothing more that went with me and took out the bulb to identify it. Though a very small space, I took some time to put the bulb back in,this didn't faze him, he stuck to it until all was well and good. Good man..
Mechanic told me to turn on ignition whilst wiper blade was being replaced which caused it to smash the windscreen. The mechanic said it was my fault even though I was following his instructions. I've now had to claim on insurance and pay an excess and my premium will go up next year. Thanks halfords go in for a bulb and wiper and come out with a windscreen cracked top to bottom and higher insurance premium.

Had a battery issue which had been identified by RAC. Having no clue myself I went to Halfords in Wisbech. The young man on the reception area was very polite and helpful. He made sure they had the correct item in stock, gave me the price including fitting which I'd asked for and established how long I would have to wait for a colleague to do the fitting. I waited 2 minutes tops and 20 minutes later I was on the road , job completed by another very courteous and knowledgeable member of the team, along with the 5 year guarantee. Great service and very happy with the product and price.
I have disabilities the to younge men darren and Alex were a credit to Halford. Extremely helpful gents. Great gob guys!.
