I purchased my eldest son a bike recently paid £325 plus a helmet. I’ve found the staff in here and the general work atmosphere so poor. The first time we walked in to look, took 15 mins for us to be noticed/talked too. Then they couldn’t find the key to unlock bikes, just slow, unmotivated. You could tell they’re hearts were not in itnnThen I go back to collect the bike a week laternYoung fella just ticks all boxes and we take the bikenOnly to find the rear wheel is flat as a pancake! So we have to wait again whilst this is fixednI have to ask for Allen keys and stuff even though it comes with the bike. So I could adjust myself at home.nnWe’ve all had 1st jobs but the people who work at Halfords find it difficult to hide the fact they don’t want to be there, and have no enthusiasmnnGetting your 1st bike is a right of passage and I felt Halfords were no where near as good as I though they would bennEdit:nThe very next day my sons rear wheel nFell off!nObviously the young person in the shop that hadn’t noticed the flat tyre, changed the inner tube and didn’t bother to put the wheel back correctly !!!nMy son has cut hands. Thanks a lot HalfordsnAwful service from start to finishnEnding up with my son suffering because of your poor untrained staff !!nnAvoid Halfords at all costs
The staff at Halfords were very professional and quick with their duties. I love my new car battery and I hope to keep it intact for a good long time. The staff were really friendly and helpful and I would recommend the store to anyone.
Went to Halfords Epsom to get car battery checked which they did very quickly. Battery was dead and wouldn’t even start again. Had a replacement battery fitted by Mo who was very helpful. In and out with new battery within 30 minutes.
I am so pleased with the service I was given for my bike with a broken gear .n.My appointment was at my convenience and I was told if easier I could dropnthe bike off earlier and the machanic would call me with a quote as soon as they could .nOnce assessed I was Called with a clear explanation of what was needed and how much it would cost to complete. I was also prepared for possible additional costs if a potential fault was found during the exercise.nOn asking for the job to be done quicker, as I use my bike for work , I was told they would try their best but they couldn’t promise and they did complete it - one day earlier than said .nAll the explanations were clear and the reason as to why the fault had happened given . Cameron was brilliant- very professional yet friendly .nI am definitely going to get my bike serviced here regularly and will be telling everyone how good this service is .Well done for you hard work -excellent service .
