Called in on the 23/8 @ approx 19.20 for a headlight bulb for my wife's car , I've got to give credit where it's due the two members of staff that I dealt with could not have been more helpful,courteous and polite. Despite not being able to fit it due to the design of the car both members of staff gave superb customer service . I only wish I had got their names so I could thank them personally. Good customer service needs rewarding so thank you both.

The only good thing about this overpriced place is that it's open for longer hours than the smaller, better shops. Only went in for a £3.50 headlight bulb, that cost me £10. The staff are totally useless and know little about cars, and the computer is just as useful. They couldn't find my car on the system so, I had to go back to my car, remove the bulb, and return with it to get the correct one. Then, I had to wait in the queue, to which, I was next. Nearly 10 minutes later, another member of staff finally opened the second till, and, with the old bulb in hand next to the new one, I was asked if I wanted to pay extra for them to fit it! Useless, totally useless.

Some young bloke who works at the leigh branch, first person who knew what he was talking about and i could understand, no jibba jabba not trying to sell me something i didnt want, and he did a real good job of sorting my bike out, and when i left, i left with peace of mind, so thanks young bloke and to you and yours and all halfords have merry Christmas. I work at the other side of town, but first chance i get i will pop in get your name and post it if thats ok, anyway thanks again

Manager was great helping me decide on the beat bike in my price range for my son and let me pay a deposit to hold it
