The Cramlington Manor Walks branch is amazing. The lads are always so patient and helpful, even on one or two occasions where I wasn’t even in to buy anything but had some technical problems while travelling by on my bike - they were still happy to help sort it out. Recently got my bike repaired and serviced and as always, the lads - I believe their names are Mark and Matthew - did a great job. It rides smooth as butter and they even kept the price reasonable for me. Hands down the best Halfords branch, far superior in expertise and customer service than any of the other Halfords I’ve visited. It’s become my go-to place.
I cannot praise Mathew enough who works in Halfords Cramlington. I bought a scooter for my granddaughter yesterday and he suggested various types which would suit a 7 Yr old. Brought a new model out of back shop. He let us try it and also built it fir us. Explained every detail if scooter to highest level possible. Nothing was a problem to him. This is second scooterbi have purchased there with him.. he is a well mannered member if your staff and would highly recommend him and your store. !! Simply well done Mathew. !!!
Dead easy. Put reg. number in, chose the bulbs I wanted fitting and booked an appointment. Turned up a bit early and the 2 headlamp bulbs were fitted within 10 minutes. I thought the price was reasonable and perhaps I could have fitted them myself but on a wet and windy day, do I really want to be fiddling with my car?
Had new wheel trims fitted by Darren, he could not have been more helpful in his assistance, helping me pick the right size, making sure they were securely attached, the price was very reasonable, i am a very happy customer.
The sales assistant was very helpful, and took the time to explain everything to us, he wasn't pushy and their was no hard sell.
Very helpful and friendly, seem to take time to help and go out their way to try sort problems or queries what ever they may be... been coming here for a fee years now and never fail to assist.
Been this morning to collect a tyre for my sons bike around 0945. Firstly, no staff upstairs in the bike dept only cleaning staff so went downstairs to pay at tills, where John had a queue of 3 people whilst he stood at side of the till fixing a headlight. I thought John mustn’t be working on the till and will call someone over so we all stood there twiddling our thumbs waiting for someone to come and serve us. After 5 mins or so John decides he’s going to serve the queue of people who’s stood there, no apology and no customer service. I think Johns maybe having a bad day and someone should have a word.
Member of staff was very rude and ignorant towards myself, ignored me and a few other customers at the checkout while he changed bulbs on a car headlight then when he finally had the decency to serve me my card failed and it was up to me to figure this out as he was so ignorant he didn’t even tell me this! Absolutely disgusting behaviour I’ll not be using this Halfords store again
I would rarely complain like this, but firstly customer service was shabby at best. Not a smile or acknowledgement that I was waiting for a number of minutes while the two young chaps on the desk talked and looked on their mobile phones. I picked up my wife's new bike and took it home. The bike had not been inspected or prepared as it should as both sets of disc brakes were binding. I had to make another 10 mile trip to take the bike back. Then another 15 mins wait while the brakes issue was rectified, then not even an apology!!!! If I need another Bike I will think again if I was going to buy from Halfords, and maybe Halfords should consider an urgent customer service course for their staff!!!!
Very easy to choose the items I required then attended the Cramlington branch to have the items installed. Very professional and friendly staff. Thank you.
