Took my car in for a battery change but after a health check was told the battery fitted by Halfords 6 months ago was fine and it was most likely a seized starter motor. So after waiting a week to get it in to a garage and £500 in van hire the mechanic opens the bonnet and tells me straight away it’s the wrong battery for the car, and after checking it that it’s absolutely dead. New battery and the car is fine.
Before travelling to the Halfords shop I thought I would give them a call to check if they did what I needed, well that wasn't easy as all local shop numbers appear to go through to a central call centre with press 1 for this 2 for that etc. Anyway eventually spoke to a guy who assured me they do supply car and motorcycle number plates, great need a motorcycle plate so off I go to the store only to be told motorcycle plates are order only and take about a week. Thanks for wasting my time.
Honestly the best customer service from a big corporate company I've ever had. Took my kid's bike in for a service and Max couldn't have been more helpful and offered impartial advice...making sure I didn't spend unnecessarily but focused on making sure the bike was safe and fully functional. Really high quality of care taken replacing parts/ servicing and kept me informed throughout. Max's customer service should be commended...I work for a FTSE 100 and rarely see people who really care about customers and communicate so professionally. Thanks will definitely be recommending to friends and going to bring my car in next time too!

Just had our e bikes serviced at the Swad facility. First class service from very knowledgeable staff. Would recomend.
No brake cleaner, what was there is twice the price of last time! Stock drastically reduced unless you want cleaning products or bike bits. Halfords, destined to be the next high street failure.
