Visited 29/06 15-00 Excellent service from Luke who gave my car an inspection free when you sign up for the Motoring Club. Very polite, friendly and efficient - a credit to the company. Though the wider retail park was extremely busy, there were still spaces underneath the orange tent and I was seen to quickly.
Would of been 1 star if it wasn’t for Alfie. Like to say thank you for going out the way to help me after I was told go do it myself after asking to be shown which bulbs I needed for my car and was only two other customers behind and was made to fell really awkward as I didn’t know what I was looking for and no idea how to use the table. So I qued to be told to go look for myself as they are busy so I wondered over and said I had no idea how to use it and one tried to help but walked off after he couldn’t himself then young Alfie come from nowhere and helped me to use it. Happy chap that’s happy to help and a credit to your store!
My son has ADHD and the guys in Halfords Portsmouth were very supportive & patient with him as he took an hour to decide which bike he wanted… then another 20 minutes whilst he decided which excessories he wanted and then changed his mind just as “Sam” had put the last item through the till. They were again extremely helpful when he went to collect the bike. 10/10 thank you guys
I took my daughter’s Apollo bike today 30/05/24 at 7pm. I was so impressed with the can do attitude of both bicycle technicians! The bike needed a crank bearing replaced, it was still under warranty and fixed with no fuss. I was delighted!!! I will continue to use Halfords!
I visited the Ocean Park store this afternoon. Luke Sav was very courteous and helpful. He checked and inflated my car tyres and gave me advice on the condition of my tyres. Despite it being past the time he should’ve finished work, he returned with me into the store and gave sound advice on which pressure gauge/pump to purchase. What a lovely young man!
I had an appointment for 10 point check after arriving a kids came out to do the job he checked battery and on his device giving error and he said all good I didn't say anything just watching closely he check tyres pressure only after that he didn't check tyre depth he didn't check any bulbs and the blade wiper I didn't understand why they employ someone so young with no experience I was really upset but I didn't want to embarrass him I thought I will contact halford to complain, overall service was rubbish.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Nick fitted a new brake light for me and from walking in to leaving it all took 5 minutes. Perfect service.
Layton and Alfie did a great job! Layton did a free check on my car and even advised as to the best tyres on country roads. Great service overall and will definitely back if I have any issues in the future.
Even thought the bolt holding the battery couldn’t be removed to change it, Layton was absolutely incredible. He tried every possible way to fix it and was very knowledgeable about everything. If only he the correct tools….
